80+ Alternatives to Ebay

As life goes on, I want you to all know that I don't have any real favourites when it comes to online auctions - but I am "DUMB" RISK ADVERSE, in terms of MONEY, TIME, EFFORT and I dislike being fucked around, lied too, and being fed shit.
Ebay and the people who manage, work for and the sycophantic toadies that adore it - in terms of cost effectiveness, I may save say $30 on the cost of a $100 part - in retail price;
But when THINGS GO WRONG - Ebay outscores almost every company (except Telstra in Australia) in regards to loss of MONEY, wasting of TIME, pointless EFFORT and all I get is fucked around, lied too, fed shit.
In the following scenario, think of yourself as an unpaid worker and feel free to draw up your OWN costing - in terms of TIME and EFFORT (include insurance and other overheads) - for what it costs you - to do what ebay should be doing for you.
What they don't spend on you, they make from you - and they are doing it with YOUR time and YOUR money.
That $30 saving in terms of CASH - can and has quite frequently turned into an unrecoupable loss in time and effort - to the tune of several hundred dollars and way more.... to do things like send 10 emails to ebay and then sign on and get 10 bullshit canned replies... 2 hours.
Say I am worth $130 per hour... that's a loss of $260 on a $30 saving.
Everything to do with Ebay, is nothing but to fuck you around, and shift their costs into your pocket, and to blow your budget out - at your expense.
When things go wrong, as they frequently do on ebay, the company fucks you over, and it RIPS YOU OFF.
They make YOU work for them, for NOTHING.
You get made to do their job for them -
without pay.
Ebay and PAYPAL rips say $600 of money off from your PAYPAL account? You have to spend 60 hours of time and effort, to get that money back - your out by your worth, on that time.
You may get your $600 back, but if you figure your worth at least $30 per hour - your out of pocket by $1800 - that's your TIME and EFFORT, that has been diverted from YOUR earning capacity and living a chosen life style.......
Ebay fucked you around and Ebay has ripped you off.
Ebay are also screwing the sellers and thus - the buyers with their exhorbatent costs, for an essentially worthless service.
The true cost of provision, vs. what they charge (price gouging) - adding on their habit of skimming the cream at every stage of the transactions.....
$$$$ to post the adds (=price gouging),
$$$$ final sale fee (=price gouging),
$$$$ skimmed from paypal (=price gouging),
$$$$ earned from interest earned on holding that money (=price gouging),
$$$$ saved on NOT providing any customer service or accountability - and shifting THIER COSTS into your pocket - by taking your time and effort - for no renumeration (=price gouging).
Ebay is a shithole designed to rake in money - YOUR money.
Ebays residual earnings come from it's mass of sales, and the inertia of the time it takes to go bankrupt, from the loss or escape of pissed off and ripped off buyers and sellers.
This is where you come in. You have online options.
Sell Elsewhere, and Buy Elsewhere.
You CAN shift over to other online sites.
It's OK - Your allowed too. I said so.
The Latest News is that I have decided to award merits of Notoriety to People and Companies who do really amazing things that:
Expose the corruption and lies pedaled by the Ebay management and staff;
Pump Ebay with lawsuits - massive and magnificent;
Publicly smearing Ebay with very well deserved bad and broad ranging PR;
Crippling Ebay in some way to stop them ripping people off big time;
White-anting Ebay's income base....
And the list goes on and on and on and on.
My first ever choice for this award goes to -
For coming out with a genuinely good business model that really fucks Ebay over.
For people who want to sell and buy stuff... forget being charged $20,000 a month for one of Ebay's scam fee based online shops... this mob will cost you $10 - $100 per month...
And that's for 30 - 1500 listing places, and it's like your paying for a "item space on a shelf" and not the items you sell... so you can keep on restocking that shelf, no matter how many times you sell the product from it.
And this is the BEST and most MAJOR FUCK EBAY event I have ever seen.
I also want each and everyone of you out there who has been burnt or fucked over or ripped off by Ebay and their policies... and has had to sit there foaming at the mouth... muttering "Fuck Ebay" as you get another dozen go round in circles emails from them... (and similar); or
Or if you have opened up a competitive website to Ebay; or
You have just decided to stop using Ebay after being burnt one too many times etc....
If at any time of your life you have ever sat there and foamed at the mouth in pure rage at Ebay and all their bullshit...

In the rest of the world sites, I was most surprised when contacting all of the sites to see if they wanted input on the ACCC investingating Ebay in Australia, about their trying to force all people to ONLY use paypal; to find that alot of the sites, either seemed to be owned by the one company and or be using the exact same range of "purchasable" online auction site templates.

These sites are the ones that require the most deleting of the defunct and the adding of fresh sites.
Still I never guaranteed anything. I just hate Ebay and Paypal - for all the really bad shit they have put me and millions of others through and I want to provide you with option of using alternatives.

As always, when making considerable investment in any venture, service or product, or even a minor investment, - always check up on the people or companies, before you hand over or sign up too anything.
Just because the service or business or product appears real, doesn't actually mean they are.
Check things like is the business actually registered with a registration agency or government department in that locality.
Is there lots of flack on the web about them scamming people etc.
Do they have easy to find contact details?
Is there actually any person on the phone - do they sound "like a business" or an idiot (that may or may not talk nicely)?
Are your shit detectors working? What are your feelings?
Are there lots of little red flags waving around?
When they say simple shit like, "We are a reputable company - established for donkeys years etc"...
How come they only have a web form and don't list a business address? (simple enough)
If they are a reputable professional person or company, why are they using a freebee email account, instead of a "company email account".
You know: The "reputable" Nigerian Lawyer... honestbrother-kingofnigeria@freeemailservice.notnigeria.emailaddress
And are you dumb enough to ignore them?
Just sus it all out... and use your brains... really honest and professional people and organisations, don't have sloppy omissions and the are upfront and accountable.....
Suspect things are dodgy, they have "odd or discreet to glaring omissions", things don't quite add up....
