She is a woman; He is a man. She is jobless driven by a competitive market; He is the oldest son raised by an unreasonable family. When hurting each other by accident, She explains: "I am depressed"; He elaborates: "I am sensitive". Nevertheless, Will they become excuses to hurt each other? No one was born depressed or sensitive. Furthermore, No one would like to be depressed or sensitive, Because it hurts Me, you and others. The Definition of Being a Loser

"People can take everything away from you but they can never take away the truth. The question is can they recognise the truth?" A close friend of mine is considered "a loser" and "stupid" by his own family. I feel it so shocking because the one I know is with intelligence, ambition and gentleness. I have never found him a loser or stupid since I knew him two years ago. Therefore, I feel it bizarre that his own family thinks of him in such a bad way and meanwhile, that they think themselves smart and do everything in a globally right way instead. How can such a smart family breed a stupid child then? I found no answer. Furthermore, I always think every single person has his own merits. He might be bad at some things but he must be good at some other things. If you think someone is a total loser, then this must be attributed to your own ignorance and lack of understanding and feeling. And that's the answer I was seeking. I met his family and I realised that they have never ever tried to understand him - they don't listen to his ideas and they don't tell him what they think either. They fail to understand him on purpose. They stick to the stupid idea developed by themselves last century that he is a loser (by their standard of course). People change over time. Most of them change better while the rest of them stay behind. So who is the real loser here if I am allowed to use the hurting word? "If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise, for the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God." |
