Ombudsmans complaints

Looking at the statistics while there are a lot of complaints made to the Ombudsman's office, it would seem many claimants are unaware that the Ombudsman's office actually handle Workcover complaints.
The process is
You must have made a complaint to Workcover on the first basis.
When they respond with one of their generic responses that does not in any way really answer the actual question write a short complaint to the Ombudsman.

CC your letter to a few members of parliament from time to time..If you don't expect a response you might be surprised to receive one..

Complaints Process

The entire complaints process is a farce.

In the past 12 months there have been no less than 4 objective and provable complaints about impropriety by Senior EML staff.

Complaints lodged with Fleetwood, CEO of EML. He claimed to conduct a thorough investigation and dismissed the complaint. A thorough investigation that forgot to ask the complainant if they had any proof to substantiate the complaint!! He simply gave it to the callous cow about whom the complaint was lodged, she dismissed it knowing he was stupid enough to accept her word.

The complaint was then escalated to the Complaints Resolution Unit run by 'Denial'.

They too conducted a "thorough investigation' that also forgot to ask if there was any evidence and accordingly accepted the perpetrators say so and the complaint was dismissed.

At that point the evidence was presented that proved without any doubt that the CEO and the CRU had been lied to.

The outcome....... nothing!

There is no right of appeal and the impunity continues.

Step in the Ombudsman! Lets see where that goes.

Demons from WorkCover

To the demons who fullfill their lives by attacking the weak and innocent injured workers over the past year, christmas may be a safe haven for you as you can enjoy it without pain or even faking a smile so your children will not sense any problems.
The difference is your children has to tell their friends what you do for work, unless you get them to lie as well? You can never escape what you have caused to so many. You may love your job, but we love our family.

Complaints

I can tell you how complaints are handled. I complained to my local minister in relation to my file and after receiving my FOI it stated in there that my file will be reviewed due to a ministerial complaint and "what action is required before the file is handed over"

I would like to know what they mean by action, maybe remove some notes or give me a hard time?

How You can Control Your Rehabilitation

What alot of people on WorkCover don't realise is that that can CHOOSE their rehabilitation provider. WorkCover or Employers Mutual Limited have no right to force you to work with a rehabilitation provider that you do not want to. And the fact is EML reguarly refer WorkCover claimants to their preferred rehabilitation providers - providers that are owned by WorkCover board members who are making millions of dollars off of injured workers and failing to get them back into work. There ARE a few small rehabilitation providers who are not CONTROLLED by WorkCover & EML who work independently and who's focus is to get the worker back to work sensibly and not shove them in a Work Training Placement or Trial that they don't want to do. If you are an injured worker and are dealing with a rehabilitation provider who is mucking you around and not doing their job - it is more than likely a provider that is owned by one of the WorkCover Board members. Talk your UNION ADVOCATE about the independant rehabilitation providers.. it is YOUR right to choose! If your sick of being controlled by WorkCover make a stand and get an advocate. Make the WorkCover Board feel pain where it hurts, IN THEIR POCKET! One of these providers is De Pois - who's managing director is Sandra De Pois - a WorkCover Board Member who's partner is Labor MP Leon Bignell. She is corrupt to the core as are the rest of the Board. And if you think Janet Giles is on your side - think again. She controls just a faction of the Union Movement - and was on the board for several years and is also responsible for the corruption. OPEN YOUR EYES PEOPLE!

Mike Rann

I sent a letter to Mr Rann in relation to WorkCover and the reforms and instead of addressing it himself, he just forwarded it to Michael Wright. I believe this is the exact opposite he told parliament that he listened to workers concerns.
