overcoming a work injury on workcover is a miracle.

Many injured workers find that overcoming a work injury whilst on WorkCover is impossible.

Please share your workcover experience here so others can know how the system has become so efficient at ruining injured workers lives and those of their families.

On April the 1st 2009 The changes to the WorkCover legislation in South Australia will take place.

On April 1st 2009 entitlements for injured workers under the current system will cease. The current government has introduced legislation which will effectively throw 97% of injured workers on to Social Security benefits.
Injured workers should be making their voices heard now.

New Legislation- More disadvantaged Workers-More blowout??

Please post here any messages that relate to the current legislative changes to the Workers Rehabilitation and Compensation Act.
It seems that the comments of some on this blog are under scrutiny by our Parliamentary members in South Australia.
Whilst it is the intention of this site to give everyone a right to speak out freely against the current Workcover system we must ensure that the comments are not critical of an otherwise oppressive and abusive system that works to the government's advantage and to the serious detriment of  injured workers who because of their workplace injuries are an oppressed minority group.

Workcover Action Group

The WorkCover Action Group is a loose collective of injured workers who are concerned about the impact of gross wrongdoing and/ or illegal conduct within the WorkCover system.  It is not a support service and does not offer legal advice.  It’s sole objective is to gather and collate factual and corroborative information which can be presented to appropriate Parliamentary Committees and/ or media outlets which can scrutinise or highlight these acts.

Workcover. Discussion place for injured workers and others.

Post here your comments about Workcover and your experience with the "system".
Some say the psychological insult to injured workers by the management of their claims is far worse than the suffering from the physical injury itself. We look forward to your comments.
Workcover and EML regularly check this site so feel free to tell them your real thoughts.
