VISIONS OF THE SEER

VISION: THE MANUFACTURING OF WISDOM
8th March 2008

I saw that certain ‘churches’ world-wide, under pressure began to dismantle certain structures that many had warned, as being unbiblical.

Such ‘churches’ had vaguely heard through the prophets of God, that their structures would fall. Some of their friends had told them that the prophets had pointed to several parts of the building, as an example of things unbiblical in their ‘churches’.

The leaders were too proud to call these prophets of God to find out what the Lord was Saying to them about the structures. So rather they called a meeting of their own members and all vaguely recalled something or the other that those prophets had said God had Said about their type of ‘church’ buildings.

One man at the meeting, pointed to one thing in the building, and another man pointed to another thing, saying, “I think my neighbors heard the prophets say that that beam and alcove we added a decade ago, in this building, are unbiblical”.

None remembered that the prophets had said that their entire buildings alongwith the fixtures and fittings were built on sand, and therefore the entire structure would fall.

So these leaders threw out many metal objects from their buildings and thought they were now cleansed.

The metal was taken to the scrap yard. Many had thrown their waste metal into the scrap yard and now the yard was full of these discarded metals.

The scrap yards were a dangerous place. People could enter but at their own risk.

Those who were eager to build a ‘new thing’, because everyone was talking about it, heard from the prophets that to build the new, wisdom was needed. And the prophets had said, “But where shall wisdom be found? In the mines of precious metals or…………… ”

The eager ones waited not to hear where the wisdom was to be found.

“I got it! Mines…..mine…..? I know where there are mines,” said the leader of those eager to build in a hurry, “Follow me”.

They were so eager to build they ran after the leader to find the mine.
The ‘mine’ they came to was a scrap yard with a mountain of scrap metal.

Irrespective of the dangers of radio activity and chemicals in the yard, they purchased by the tonnes, the scrap metals and had them smelted.
This smelted metal, would be used by them to build something 'new'.

Prophets of God shouted warnings to them not to do such a thing.
But the people buying scrap said “Don’t see the harm in using discarded metals, which in any case, we’re having smelted to be used for quite another purpose”.

This smelted metal would be carried by exhausted beasts of burden they had purchased in the Knackers yard, and taken to an industrial unit where they would manufacture wisdom.

And with this ‘wisdom’ they would build a ‘new’ thing.

I saw that world-over there were such scrap yards and many eager to manufacture wisdom, so that they could build a ‘new thing’.
