• 16/6/2007 - COUPLA THINGS LAURIE COULD HAVE DONE BETTER AGAINST THE JUNIOR ALL BLACKS

He could have (should have?) pulled Peter Hewat at half time on the basis of lousy decision making in the game - Shepherd to fullback and Turner onto the wing. Then he should have pulled Norton Knight.

If he had done that, he would not have had to have pulled Cross, and should have left Holmes on.


Tawake could probably have done a better job on the flank when Salvi got injured.

Still, they were playing the second best team in the world!
