Marinara sauce can be a diverse sauce. It can be the base for pizza sauce or your can make it a dip for cheese sticks. You can add meat and vegetables to it to make a great meat sauce for your pasta. Whatever it is you want to use it for, there is a recipe for diverse marinara sauce.
Ingredients:
3 tablespoon oregano
2 tablespoon Italian seasoning
1 bay leaf
4 fresh tomatoes
half a small onion.
1 clove of garlic
½ tablespoon salt and pepper
4 ounces of olive oil
Directions: Boil or steam the tomatoes and onion until tender. Put in the tomatoes and onion in a blender and purify it. In a saucepan, add the oil and sautee the garlic for three minutes. Pour in the mixture from the blender and let it simmer for 10 minutes. Add the remaining ingredients and enjoy. The saucepan will make all the difference in the world. Make sure you use a saucepan that can hold at least 24 ounces. Serves 4.
