11/6/2008 - Noosa North Shore Kangaroos

On a recent weekend break on the Noosa North Shore, we only had to drive onto the property where we were staying to see the first of the Kangaroos. It didn't matter what time of the day it was or what the weather was like, kangaroos could be seen.

This was the first kangaroo I saw, sitting right next to our cabin.You can imagine my excitement, so when Ricki pulled up in his car and I told him what I had seen, he laughed at me and told me to follow him.…………Now that you have seen there was not a shortage of kangaroos, you will understand why I took so many photographs. ………Females far out-weighed males but this is a male below.The next few photos are definitely of a male. And he was a big boy.I would say this chap had a lot to do with the number of joeys that were appearing in pouches.…………………………………………………………… Male and female.……Nature calls........………………………………………Do you think that this mummy was trying to tell me no more photos!…………………………………………………My next entry will show you some of the area and some of the bird life.
