Salad Faces

8/11/2009 - Pathetic Salad Face

Ok, I have to admit, this Salad Face is lacking in creativity. I don't know what I was thinking.

I actually only found this photo TODAY. I made this salad face ages ago, and I had forgotten about it. I was sorting through my photos on my digital camera, and I found this!

Even though this Salad Face looks a bit pathetic, it still has character, don't you think?

He sort of looks a but "Derr... " like he is mentally challenged or something. Not that there's anything wrong with that. I love all of my Salad Faces equally, no matter what they look like. That's what unconditional love is all about. :D

Ok, so. The story with this one is: My partner and I were at Hogs Breath Cafe. The veggies they served us were undercooked. So, instead of complaining and demanding NEW veggies, I decided to do what I do best.

Anyway........ His eyes are made of corn. We both hate corn.

His nose and eyelids are made from very raw carrot sticks. His eyebrows are awfully under-cooked Broccoli and his smiley mouth is a half-eaten steak. I guess he is more of a "Veggie Face"... but... uh... let's just ignore that so that it fits with this genre. Shh... I won't tell anyone if you wont. ;)

About Me

I am proposing a new art movement. When I go out to dinner, I never eat my salad. I'm a very picky eater. What do you do with uneaten food left on your plate? Do you just leave it there, pushed to the side of the plate? Why not get creative?? I do.
