Harbour View in Hong Kong 4/2/2010

The sun was shining. However, people could not see the Victoria Harbor clearly because of RSP (Respirable Suspended Particulate) in the air.

Medicare and Private Health Insurance must love me29/10/2009

I had a bad cough for five days in January 2008. Since then I pay much more attention to eating and drinking. I hadn’t cough again in the past 21 months. It’s great! Sometimes I have a slight sore throat or cough which always doesn’t last more than four hours.

My method is: get 6 dried flowers of  Chrysanthemum indicum = chamomile; 300g of Morus alba which grows in organic farms; soaked these two plants in 2000 ml of cold water; then cook them and keep boiling for 10 minutes. Ready to serve when the tea is a bit warm. I drink 3 glasses of the tea in five hours. My throat is feeling comfortable and I have a good voice.

PrintMagic and Video Studio10/9/2009

Tomorrow will be Friday. In the morning I’m going to teach the computer class named CD Cover Design. What we use is the software PrintMagic 7.

After lunch I’ll be at the Cybersenior Centre. Seniors use computers at the Cybersenior Centre free of charge. I am allowed to use the software called Ulead Video Studio. We use it to edit DVD family movie for ourselves. All of us are seniors, the youngest member must be above 45, most are between 50 and 75. I have been a volunteer on teaching Senior Computer Classes since 2003, I enjoy to be with Cyber Seniors.

Healthy Food: Grosvener Momordica fruit12/7/2009

Generally speaking, our human body is designed to be healthy and to function normally.

A healthy properly nourished body takes care of itself, it is self-adjusting and automatically regulates itself.

I’m fit (158 cm tall and weight 54 kg) and I didn’t need to see my family doctor in the last 18 months. Why am I so fit? Because I now believe “You are what you eat”. I often nourish my body with healthy foods, and one of them is Grosvener Momordica fruit ( Momordicae Grosvenori Swingla ). You can see the fruit in the above pictures. The tea of Grosvener Momordica fruit is delicious, do you want to try it?
