Renovation by the river...

Carport roof

Ok, as you know, I am on holidays, and one of my holiday chores is to replace the roof on the carport, especially now that we can see how rusty and sagging the old one is when looking down on it from the balcony. So it was off to Bunnings to get some timber, and Stratco to get the colour bond sheets, and we are in business.

I'm getting quite used to this ladder and scaffold thing...

Picked out some floor boards yesterday, the timber is called Jatoba, and has a real nice warm look. I'm planning on taking Friday off and lay it over the weekend.
