A recent article posted online on the Daily Telegraph website titled “Not Much Fun Down Under” claims that Aussies are flops in bed and are dissatisfied when it comes to bedroom play – oh but by the way, we top the world when it comes to pleasuring ourselves, we’re one of the frontrunners when it comes to naughty phone sex, more than half of us get off on watching porno’s, we are well above global average when it comes to sexual partners and we just lurrrrve our sex toys more than anyone else in the world! Not much fun down under? You’ve got to be kidding!

More than 26,000 people from 26 countries from all around the world took part in a recent Durex Global Wellbeing Survey that revealed only 33 per cent of Aussies were having sex as much as often as they wanted.

Ok so the survey reveals that less than half of us are not happy with the amount of sex we are having. Does this earn us the title of flops in bed? Certainly not! I don’t think the question is are we dissatisfied, rather, I think we need to ask ourselves are we disinterested?

I think we’re bored of typical, vanilla sex and are craving acts more sinfully satisfying than what we were previously receiving. What the article to mentions but fails to give much recognition, is that Aussies are among the most experimental and adventurous in the world when it comes to sex acts other than a romp in the sack.

We top the world when it comes to pleasuring ourselves! A huge 93 per cent of us Aussies (7 per cent of the population are liars!) engage in DIY sex, beaten only by the Swiss, with 96 per cent of the blonde haired, blued eyed babes revealing they like to take care of themselves also.

More than half of Aussies like watching porn and guess what; it’s not only the fellas! A recent article published in the Sydney Morning Herald, reveals a record numbers of Australians are visiting pornographic websites, including adult dating sites - and one in three of them is a woman. We're also among the frontrunners when it comes to phone sex with 15 per cent of us enjoying a bit of dirty talk compared with the global average of 11 per cent!
