The one good thing about the imprisonment and torture of refugees in Australia is that they get a first hand experience of what Australia is really about. They might want to come to Australia because of the rumours or the public relations spin that is put out by the Australian tourist industry, or the Australian Government, but they find it to not be true.

They end up with no delusions about Australian democracy, freedom, or liberty. Those concepts don’t exist here. They get the real racist, fascist state that Australia is, just like indigenous people do.

Most Australians have no idea of that real society that they live in, because they don’t oppose it, or because they are not refugees, or indigenous. They are like the people who lived in Nazi Germany who weren’t Jews, Romany, Gay, Anarchist, Communist, Intellectually disabled, Mentally Ill, or Jehovah’s Witnesses. The white Arian Germans had no problems if they supported Nazism.

In the Australian fascist state, if you support the genocide of indigenous people, or support the destruction of the environment, and you are a docile, obedient slave, then you will have no problems with the system. You will not be bashed by police, or prison guards.

Some of us don’t support fascism and want to see its end soon. I want to see the end of this systems power, literally.
