a short summary:
This book is about a scheming fourth-grader named Bernie Bridges. Bernie is regarded as a trouble maker and lives in Rotten House. One Day, Bernie's parents send him his two pets, his dog Gassy and his parrot, Lippy. The rules of Rotten House say that there are no pets allowed. Sherman Oaks(Bernie's enemy) will do anything to get Bernie expelled. Bernie is worried that Mrs. Heine will get him expelled but he has a plan. First, he smudges the teacher's glasses and she then lets Bernie off. The next big plan is that Bernie and his friends Feenman & Crench break into the headmaster's office to enrol Gassy as a student. On the first day of class, Gassy aka Barry. A. Bone is a good student. He "speaks French" and sings bass. When Headmaster Upchuck comes into the classroom and sees a dog, Sherman blames Bernie. Bernie is about to get expelled when Mrs. Heine reveals that Gassy was the only student to sit for the whole exam and made the honor roll. The rule was now changed. PETS ALLOWED AT ROTTEN SCHOOL!

Toad Away finds Limpy still searching for a safe haven for cane toads, and joining with two friends to travel to the mythical Amazon, which is rumoured to be a safe haven. Limpy, a cane toad who believes that war isn’t the answer to problems continues his adventure to make friends with humans in this third book of the series. He believes that making peace is the way to stop humans from flattening his relatives with their cars. His cousin Goliath, who is not very smart and dopey, prefers to declare war. Hearing that their relatives in the Amazon have discovered the secret to a peace between humans and toads, Limpy, Charm (his adventurous sister), and Goliath hitch a ride on some birds that are migrating and rush to uncover the mystery. They get to the Amazon, although they find it to be a murderous war zone with unfriendliness among all of the animals. They meet a cane toad called Raoul who wants to learn more about Australia. The toads think their mission is hopeless until they find that all humans are not bent on destroying them and an ancient wise man reveals the sought-after secret. He is an environmentalist and can speak the language of toads. He discovered that if a human drinks a drop of toad urine every new moon, the human will be blessed.

This story is based on a movie,but this book has some differences to the movie.It starts off woth a oridanry kid, who thinks he is ordinary but he is a wizard.His parents died he was a little kid and was rasied up as a orphan.On the night that was going to be is Birthday, a slam came upon his door.A big person named Hagred came and said that he was invited to the wizard school of Hogwarts.It was then he realized that his parents was killed by a evil wizard named Voldemort. When he arrived at Hogwarts, he met two new best friends.They were Hermoine and Ron.Hagret gave Harry Potter a special stone called the Philosophers stone,it would turn metal into gold and make someone immortal.After he gave the Philosophers stone back to the school, he had to retrieve it. They went down a passage that was guarded by a three headed dog, played a dangerous ches game and found Voldemort. Harry Potter retrieves the Philosophers stone backw hen he killed the teacher that had Voldemort on the back of his head,but Voldemorts spirit managed to escaped.When he recovered, all the students went back home.Hagret gave Harry a special book of his parents befire he went back home.

a short summary: The Howler is about a boy named Spencer. Spencer had a cousin named Ian who died a year ago. He was skating on thin ice and was drowned in the water. Desperate to find Ian and tell him how sorry he is for Ian's death, Spencer wastes money buying numerous ghost detecting products. None of them seem to work but one day he enters a dull and gloomy shop and purchases a machine called The Howler. The Howler enables Spencer to hear the howls of ghosts and even though he is terrified he still doesn't give up the fight to communicate with Ian. It works but he gets more than he bargained for. He accidentally releases a family of ghosts who died and were trapped for 100 years. They are angry and are out for revenge. One day, they are surrounded by the ghosts and Spencer tries to reach Ian to ask him how to get rid of ghosts. It doesn't work and the Howler blows up. The whole attic is set on flames and Spencer along with his friend Vanessa jump out the window and run. The ghosts follow them all the way to the ice-skating rink where the ice cracked again but this time Ian's ghost interacted with Spencer & Vanessa. Ian circles the ghosts until the ice breaks and the ghosts are frozen. Ian is also frozen and things go back to normal.

a short summary:
The book Toad Heaven is about a cane toad named Limpy. He is trying to find a place where cane toads don't get hit by cars and bikes. A truck comes and out of the truck comes a scientist. The scientist picks up Limpy and puts him in the truck.
When limpy wakes up he sees a blue plastic, he is in a bucket. He sees a dog and the dog tells him that the scientist put a virus in him so when he goes all the other cane toads will get infected aswell. There waas a big bump on Limpy's back. When Limpy goes back he sees that people think that he is dead and they are crying near a grave. Limpy wants to tell them that he is alive but he doesn't want them to get infected.He then sends a fly to his cousin Goliath to tell him that he is still alive. Goliath recieves the message and meets him at the train station. The other cane toads were going the wrong direction. They were going West instead of East. Limpy was going East and was keen in finding the National Park. Goliath brought Limpy's sister Charm aswell and together they headed East. When they reached there all they saw was water, they had gone to the Great Barrier Reef.
They then continued their journey only to find themselves in deep trouble. They had gone to another National Park and the animals there said that they didn't want them. Limpy had to go and warn the others that they might not be allowed to go into the National Park. On his way he saw a crocodile who bit his back.Out of his back came a trackijng device. LImpy thanked the crocodile and continued walking. They went on a train and saw that a group of cane toads were walking together. They jumped of the train and ran towards them. Limpy saw a cane toad named Malcolm have one of those bumps on his back. Limpy pulled it off and showed everyone that Malcolm was leading the scientists to them.
Suddenly out of nowhere came atruck and two men came out of it and got a hose and splashed all the water in the home of bullants. Then came many other bullants from another hole and started crawling on the human's leg. Goliath went and started licking off all the ants and the scientists seemed pleased.
the next day they were all at the swamp again and they found a newspaper on the floor. On the front page there was a picture of Goliath licking the ants. Everyone was pleased and Limpy found out that Toad heaven was home.

This story is about a girl named Carly Beth and how she always got scared even a small thing like someone saying boo to her made her jump and scream. Halloween was coming up and she was tired of her friends always scaring her and making fun of her. She wanted to make that different. Instead of them scaring her she wanted to scare them.
When Carly Beth got home from school her mum told her that her Halloween costume was ready. Carly Beth felt bad because she didn't want to be a duck. She wanted to be something really scary, something that would make her friends freak out. There had a new party store that had opened a couple of weeks ago, down the road. Carly Beth thought she'd buy a really scary mask form there.
The next night she decided to go to the new party store and she found a mask that was really great. It was extremely scary and it looked so real, it even felt like skin. Carly Beth wore the mask while she walked home. When she knocked on the door of house her brother opened it and the mask scared him to death. She also ended up scaring her friends too. They didn't even realise it was her.
Halloween was nearly over and Carly Beth still had her mask on. She tried to take it off but it wouldn't budge. It had joined to her skin and it had become her face. She then had to find a symbol of love so the mask could be removed. She then got the sculpture her mum made of her. The mask then came off. Carly Beth never wore that mask again.

a short summary: The Slippery Slope starts off with Violet and Klaus rolling down a mountain side in a caravan. Their baby sister Sunny is in Count Olaf's car (a villian). After some time they meet a group of Snow Scouts. During the night, a Snow Scout reveals himself to be Quigley Quagmire (younger brother of Duncan & Isadora Quagmire) and takes the Baudelaires to the VFD headquaters only to discover that it has been burned down. Quigley and the Baudelaires see green smoke and think its a signal from Sunny. Violet then invents some climbing shoes so Quigley and Violet can climb up a frozen waterfall in the VFD headquaters. Violet and Quigley find Sunny but Sunny chooses to stay and try to discover more secrets. After their climb back down, Violet, Klaus and Quigley make a plan to trap Esme Squalor (Count Olaf's girlfriend) and offer to trade Esme for Sunny. They do not go through with this plan and take Esme up the frozen waterfall hoping to get Sunny as their reward for not trappping Esme. Quigley, Esme and the Baudelaires make it up the waterfall and try to get Sunny back. They snatch Sunny and go down the frozen waterfall. The waterfall breaks open and the Baudelaires are seperated from Quigley.

He had alot of adventures during this perios like coming across with deadly snakes, a ferocious lion, capturing german prisoners, flying training,getting better as he done more battles in the sky and getting shot down himself.This book was during the period of Hitler (World War II) and Roald Dahl was fighting against Hitler.After all this happened and he got shot down he was ordered to go back home because they no longer needed him.When he came back home after a few years his mother was waiting at the front back and back into his mother's arms.

Girl Under ground starts off with a girl named Bridget White. She comes from a family of criminals. Her brother in jail and her parents had enrolled her into a posh school. She meets a boy named Memzies.Menzies makes her an offer she can’t refuse and they set out on a quest. This quest involved a daring plan to rescue Jemal and Bibi two children that are stuck in a detention centre. Menzies had Known Jemal for a while now because they were pen pales. Menzies dad work at the department of national development so they decided it take their problem to him to Canberra. Bridget and Menzies enter the House of Representatives. The event is in the media and Bridget whole family history is out in the public. Jemal father Mohammed Housini had received a Visa and was out of the detention center.Mohammed and the children tried to negotiate with the guards but were unsuccessful. Mohammed then help Menzies and Bridget dad dig a tunnel into the detention center.They finally reached the room were the children were held and found themselves ina room filled with the media and also Menzies dad and his body guard. Bridget told the media why they were there and in the end they were free and played soccer with the refuges.

This book is about twin sisters named Lindy and Kris. One day the sisters go for a bike ride and come across a dumpster. Lindy finds a ventriloquist's dummy and names him Slappy. Lindy starts practicing comedy routines with Slappy. Lindy's comedy routines become increasingly popular, and Kris feels jealous of the attention. Her father then buys her a dummy of her own from a pawnshop, and she names him "Mr. Wood". Soon, acts of mischief and terror begin occurring around the house. Lindy reveals that she was behind all of the pranks. Kris is angry. While practicing with Mr. Wood, Kris finds a yellow piece of paper in Mr. Wood's pocket. She reads the strange words on the paper. Mr. Wood seems to have a mind of his own, putting down the audience cruelly and even vomiting green gunk out of his mouth. Mr. Wood then reveals himself to Kris and Lindy. He demands that the two girls be his slaves, and if they refuse, he is going to hurt their loved ones. They try to kill Mr. Wood by various means, including burying him in a suitcase under the ground, but Mr. Wood keeps coming back. Mr. Wood decides to make the girls pay by killing their dog. He begins to crush the dog's neck. They are chasing their dog and they end up in a construction site. Mr. Wood is destroyed by a bulldozer. When the girls get home, they discover Slappy is alive. He calls them slaves and asks them about the "other guy".

a short summary:
boy overbaord is about two afghan kids called jamal and bibi. these two kids go on a very thrilling adventure to australia because the government is chasing them. jamal loves soccer, even his sister bibi, but girls aren't supposed to get play any sports. it's a crime if they do, and the parents will get a beating if the government finds out.
so one day when jamal and bibi went back home from playing soccer and found out that thehouse exploded and a big black van took mum. it was the government who took mum. so dad took jamal and bibi to an abandoned shop next to a soccer stadium where lots of people went walking inside of it.
jamal and bibi followed them aswell and when they got inside, five ladies lined up in a row and five shooters were pointing guns at the back of their heads while they were blindfolded. then one women ran out of the line and all of the shooters started shooting at her when suddenly a taxi drove in the stadium and took that lady. then jamal and bib found out that it was dad saving mom. so jamal and bib ran back to the shop and their parents got together with them and drove far away from the city.
then they arrived at a centre where all of these refugees everywhere. then a big gate opened and everyone rushed inside splitting up the parents and the little kiddies. they both went on separate boats. then suddenly pirates invaded jamal and bibi's boat and gave jamal a boot on the hips for being a smarty pants. then the parents and the kiddies got back together again and got a big boat to AUSRTALIA!
but they didn't make it on the right place!

a short summary:
well there's a young english kid called charlie. he lives with his parents, and his four grandparents....but they can't walk, they've been sitting on one single bed for many years. they eat there and have long chats there if they're bored.
in charlie's hometown, a big chcolate factory closed down for many years because spies took their ideas in making the best candy ever. so one night, all of these little people who worked for the owner of the factory, willy wonka, came out and put posters up saying that they're back in business and making new choclates with golden tickets in it, and the first five to get them,those five lucky people get to go in the factory.
everyone was excited, mostly charlie. a few days later, four lucky kids already found their tickets charlie was getting catious. then one day, when charlie was walking in the streets, he found money on the ground. he couldn't believe it, he can finaly get the last ticket if he's lucky, so he went in the milkbar and purchased the candybar. he opened it when he just got it, and unexpectedly found a golden ticket. everyone in the milkbar wanted to buy it off him and even tried to snatch it off him aswell. charlie ran home and suprised eveyone with the golden ticket that he found. then one of his grand-dad who used to worked for him jumped out of bed and started dancing for joy because he wanted to go in the factory again.

a short summary:
It all starts off by a war in england back in the old days and the Pevensie family are running for the underground shelter outside where the war was. Edmund, the third youngest in the family was enjoying watching the while everyone was taking their precious things to the shelter. Then Peter, the oldest in the family pulls him away from the window and drags him outside, but then he remembered to bring a picture of his father with him. So he ran inside the house and quickly took the picture. Then peter tackles him to the floor while a bomb explodes the windows infront of the house. Peter then scoles him and takes him back to the shelter.
The next day their mum sent them away to other parents to look after them. Susan, the second youngest and Lucy, the youngest hug their mum and start to cry. It took a while to get them to where they were supposed to go, but at least they had fun in their new parents house. They played "tag" one day and Peter was the seeker. Then lucy couldn't find a place to when she found a room which had a wardrobe at the end.So she hid in the wardrobe so that peter couldn't find her. She walked back trying to lean against the back of the wardrobe until she felt a tree's branch on the tip of her fingers. She gasped and turned around when she saw a snowy place. It was Narnia! Then she saw a lampost in the middle of a wide space...she stared at it, wondering why it was there.

8/3/2007 - my autobiography!
Hey guys, my name's rafie yahya and i'm 13 turning 14 in may 31....i've got two older brothers and three younger sisters plus a mum and a dad. I'm half Singaporean and half Indonesean...but i'm full Aussie thats the good thing. I'm a Muslim and my religion is Islam. I also go to an Islamic school called Minaret Collge. I got lots of friends there. the teachers over there are cool...especially the principle, you can't beat the principle ok.
Well, now the story will go to my culture. In Singapore, there's three towns...China town, Little India and the Singapore place, that's not what it's really called but eh. The technology there is pretty much high tech and expensive too. The food there is really delicious...there's lots of rice, noodle, curry and halal Mcdonalds,KFC and Burger King! But i mostly eat the Mcdonalds because of the fillet-o-fish meal.
And in indonesia there's so many expensive things there which are really cheap! I bought more than 30 games for 95cents each! There's lots of satays there and it tastes soo nice..yummay! There's lots of big shops down at Indonesia where lots of girls and boys go to shop for their clothes and other personal things.But you have becareful of the mosquitoes at night, man they go crazy over you! So you might want to buy mosquitoe repel thing before dark. I also enjoy Pizza Hut and KFC over there. [p.s. the KFC over there sell rice with chicken haha...cool,don't laugh!]

"my name is rafie,
in prep, the guys uesd to call me buffy.
i'm 14,
i'm so scared of those big moths that whenever i see one,i can't even kill it with mortein.
i got lots of friends,
and if you mess with most of them, they go really tense.
i got a big family,
and i live near dande,
i also got a friend there, and his name is stanley.[ yeh right!]
i live in endeavour hills near abdiraheem and dhaifan,
and if you go down the hill, you'll be at the playground.
i also come from singapore,
haven't been there for a while and i just want to go there just to see more.
my other half is indonesia,
when it's time for me to go there, most people come just to say 'CYA'!
those countries has lots of delicious food like noodles, rice,curry,satay etc.
and when you go to the mosque for the friday prayer, they have incredible,long as and mindbreaking lectures.
but now this poem's got to be at an ending,
and i ain't pretending.
so see you my fellow friend,
maybe i'll still be your friend in the year of 2010!
