About Me
I am writing this blog as an experiment. As I'm a writer with permanent writer's block, I would like to turn my daily experiences into something quasi-literary, rather like Beverley Farmer's 'A body of water', but sad to say, probably not as accomplished! In order to motivate myself, I need some kind of audience, even if it's only imagined! Initially I'll be keeping information about my personal life to a minimum but this may change as I become a more confident blogger. I'm mainly focusing on my responses to daily experiences, while trying to avoid solipsism, if this is possible! I'll also be commenting on books I read, films I see, and my responses to political events.
