About Me
For as long as I can recall I have used art as a means of expressing and understanding my experience of being in the world. I have always tried to make sense of myself through the interaction I have with others and through the artwork that I do. My experience of being with others in a companioning relationship is one of truly coming alive. I believe it is the re-discovery of the spontaneous, creative, self- nurturing 'me' that I connect to when making artwork or when I am with others that is most valuable to me. The safe and free expression of our feelings through voice, body and through art for me is inextricably linked to creating authentic relationships with others. I create artwork to nourish my inner world but it is with people I nourish my need for companionship.
