About Me
I was born in New Zealand and trained as a journalist before adventuring out into the great wide world, traveling through a number of countries before immigrating to Canada. I also lived for a time in the United States before eventually returning to New Zealand, where I met my future wife while en route to Australia.
After living and working in Aussie for a time I returned to the Shaky Isles where I eventually married my fiancee!
Some 13 years and four children later I returned to Queensland where we've lived for some 35 years in the tropical north.I returned to Canada on business in the early '80's as well as the States. The latter I visited again a number of times again, living for a period of some 3 months in California while I established a business importing classic American cars, parts and machinery into Australia.
After retiring as a businessman and entrepreneur in Queensland, during which time I also did some serious gold prospecting, I now travel the Australian Outback, researching material for further books.
