We want to congratulate you on your PanPacific tournament results!  Good job!

(We hope most of the you can come back to the U.S.A. next year and play 15U again!)

Your American friends want to tell you how much we appreciated your enthusiasm for the game as well as how you conducted yourselves on and off the field.

We were proud to have you as representatives of Australian Baseball.

Although your record here was not indicative of your abilities your actions as a great team did not go un noticed.

Thank you for making the games here in Missouri memorable for us.

The team arrived back Thursday 10th 6.09am our time, the flight was great and they enjoyed a little turbulence as well.

Thank you very much for your kind and welcome hospitality having the boys (8 of them!!!) in your care.

Chris, thank you for washing and ironing their cloths especially their white baseball pants, they are so clean and whiter than before.

The boys were so lucky, having you as their host family and for sure will never forget your family and the experience they had.

They had great time and wish that they could stay longer.

Thank you again for having them and most of all thank you for all the love your family had given to the boys.

Kindest regards and love to you all

The Oey family

Hello to all of the families in Australia...

We just returned home from the airport. Your children are on a plane, very
anxious to see all of you.  It was such a delight to have your
children in our home.  We hope you enjoyed the photo's and we hope it
helped fill any voids you might be feeling while your children are here.
Our eight have notes for their families, so please ask to see them.
The gifts will all be displayed proudly in our home.  The photos and albums
have already been placed with the existing family photos for all to see.

You should all be proud of your sons.  They are all fine young men and
we feel truly blessed to have them in our lives.  We hope to see all of
you when we make our trip to Australia. Our eight promised us
personal tours.  Good luck in the up-coming tournament.

Love to all,
The Frenz Family

It's your family that you have forgotten to contact. I know you are having a great time.

I have tried to contact you on the number you gave me but no luck it just rings cause no one is home.
So are you alive still ?

Everyone sent their love like your grandparent too.
Your in big trouble from your sister and you should know why. Vanessa knows that you rang on Friday but she was at work and she would like to know if you can ring some time before you leave and get on the plane.

Well we hope you have a good flight home and we will be at the airport waiting for you

Love you
from Mum, Dad and Vanessa

Hello All, This Is Fitzy (Andrew Fitz) & Ortiz (Daniel Kest).

We understand that a lot of parents out there are wondering "What on earth is going on over there!?"

Ok well So far We Have Arrived safe & sound everyone is still here!! so if some people haven't contacted they are probably having a great time without you or they are just really busy and tired..

First Day:
Everyone Had a bit of Jet-lag everyone was tired not many had sleep on the plane. After 14hrs of flight to Los Angeles we touched down.We had a long time going through customs and etc... after all that we finally got on a small plane for a 4hr flight to St Louis we got of and we met up with "Streety" ( Robbie ) and the Dunn family, Also the billets were there. We collected our luggage and headed of to our houses.

Second Day:
USA had won that game, unfortunately we had Jet Lag *coughs*. No They were a strong team and we just made silly little errors and that caused them to get 5 runs home. On the other hand we managed to get another 3 runs by Kurt hitting and RBI scoring a runner and Andrew to hit a Home run on errors, scoring himself and Kurt.we almost came back but Derek hit a line drive straight up the middle and the pitcher made a game saving play. Boys did well that game we were focused in the last 3 innings of the game but we were a bit nervous for the first 2 innings.

Third Day:
This Is The Day We Relaxed! most of the families went shopping at sporting shops and got some baseball gear and etc...!

Fourth Day:
Yet Again we versed Another USA Team and they still were a good side, I might add these boys are BIG boys! We had Lost that game 8-1. We had to regroup and discussed better sleeping habits. But that is over now, Mums And Dads We are now sleeping fine! Matt Butler had a great game with his pitching.

Fifth Day:
Today We had some fun in the water we went in rafts down at a local river and we had a ball! splashing each other, fighting , and have great fun swimming being 100^F!

Sixth Day:
Today we had a double header in 103^F which is about 42^C (That's Hot!) Our First game was against the mighty Japan. Unfortunately we had lost that game 4-1 but that was better then Japan beating USA 10-1. Off to a rocky start with pitchers struggling in the heat. A couple of the boys had some great catches but we did not execute enough plays.

Second game, we versed USA again! we got absolutely mashed by the usa team 20-1! We also failed to execute the plays. But Usa had a good hitting game with 4 home runs over the fence! After that we went to the St  Louis Cardinals Game!!! That Was A Blast for everyone we all had great fun there watching the game and eating American food!!

So That Is Pretty Much What Happened So Far its very brief but Daniel and I (Andrew) have to go to bed now!

We will be playing a double header again but this time we will have an Hour break! Yay! And also the second game we get to use Baseballs! Against the usa team that we versed first! Hopefully That Will lift our spirits up!

We are all missing you heaps

Love Andrew Fitz, Daniel Kest & U/15's Team!

XOXO

Dear fellow families ,

Thanks for the info sent about the team. We really have appreciated it !!!!

I have enjoyed reading the blogs and the emails from families. Yes... we are not alone!!!

Reading the blogs especially... I have been reminded of the lyrics from the Electric Light Orchestra song HELLO.

I thought you might like a read...especially the chorus... maybe it should have been our team song!!!!

I'm sure they're having a hoot!!!

Thanks again
Janet Fitz

Telephone Line lyrics

Hello--how are you
Have you been alright, through all those lonely nights,
That's what I'd say, I'd tell you everything,
If you'd pick up that telephone.
Hey--how you feelin'
Are you still the same
Don't you realize the things we did were all for real not a dream,
I just can't believe
They've all faded out of view.
I look into the sky
(The love you need ain't gonna see you through.)
And I wonder why
(The little things are finally coming true.)
CHORUS
Telephone line, give me some time, I'm living in twilight
Telephone line, give me some time, I'm living in twilight
O.K. so no--one's answering,
Well can't you just let it ring a little longer
I'll just sit tight, through the shadows of the night
Let it ring for evermore.
CHORUS -- repeat

Hey Team, (Daniel)
