LETS BRING IN 2008 WITH WILDNESS. PLUTO OPPOSING MARS AND ITS RAINED FOR THE WHOLE 2008 - SO FAR.Rode out the storms last night and the rain all week. Izzy on holidays and up here we are gone sub-tropical and its wild. the Bilambil Sports Club is trashed. We spent all night digging the trench and sweeping water. A massive low which has been around since before New Years Eve. Been fun. cool and damp and isolated with that pleasant rural flooding isolation. Now they say its passed but THEY have been saying that for days . Bello is flooded in an out. Thora has been isolated for days. Kate would be if she were in Kalang already. Shes buying her fathers magna mitsubishi. for $1000.
They were going to evacuate 2000 people down here on Tweed. Dont know what that was about.
We put the Telstra GIVE US BACK OUR PHONES petition down in the Village Store then checked the Club. Fences were all down. The carpark bitumen is now on the playing fields. Carpet Cleaners are in and trying to clean and dry the carpets. Theres sewage and mud and muck . Micks flat is washed out totally.
Most exciting . We have spent most of 2008 inside doing research on our excellent new VODAPHONE mobile internet . ITS EXCELLENT.
