Organising

Well the invitations are all out for the engagement party now and it seems that the people that have said they are coming are from interstate which is fantastic :)...the invites have only been out for less than a week and we are getting RSVP`s already..which is good i guess as we dont have to stress when we find that we have had noone rsvp on the date :)

Have a bit to organise for it and with only a month until the day we better get out butts into gear.We took some measurements today for a marquee incase of bad weather and we have to get the outside toilet fixed so we have 2 that can be used as there will be to many people (approx 80) for one little toilet lol.

Well one week is over for facials which is great and i still have another 2 to go in a few different stores. Its going to be a hectic week in the city as this time we have 2 rooms going and a few more bookings than last facial week but it will be good atleast he week will go nice and fast.

Hanvt really done any mor ewedding plans..Tho i have had a look into silk flowers as they will last forever and for the same cost as fresh flowers they look the same and will never die :)
My mum had silk flowers 31 years ago and even they looked real in pics.

Well thats it for now i think as not much has happened.

things are moving along

Well hopefully soon we will have our photographer and minister sorted and out of the way..I need to get the flowers quoted and send off cake designs to my friends mum to have a look at...Its amazing once you start planning a wedding just how much is involved and im only doing the big things at the moment i can only imagine what its going to be like when the little things need to be done.

And would you believe ive downloaded the couch to 5kms podcasts so i can start running again.I used to run 5kms a day up until about 10 years ago when i turned 18 and started partying instead :)..im pretty sure i should be able to do 5kms after 9 weeks..i will see how i go :)

thats really it for now

Hi Everyone

WOW!!! what can i say....once again for those who have read my blogs before,i have been so slack that i havnt written anything since November last year.

Well soooo much has happened..where do i start?

Ok i will start with December
This month was so busy i didnt have time to scratch myself.Work was really busy with facials and christmas coffrets (fragrance) it was a pretty full on 3 weeks in the lead up to christmas.
The 15th of december i packed my bags and headed off to Perth for 3 weeks of relaxation and to spend christmas with my family for the first time since 1999.
Saturday the 16th was my grandparents 60th Wedding anniversary. It was great to have my family together to celebrate this milestone.I cant imagine reaching the age of 60 let alone be married for 60 Years.
Now this brings me to the exciting part of the story. I picked my other half up from the airport on the tuesday as he had to stay back in Sydney as we had a friends wedding on the same weekend as my grandparents party.Mum and dad were at the Casino so i picked him up and then went back to get my parents.
I went to the loo with mum and when we came back out dad and rob were talking and they shut up pretty quickly when we got there.
Anyway the next day we went to visit friends and rob was acting all strange asking what we were doing etc etc...About 8pm after hounding me all day about going to the beach to watch the sunset we finally managed to get down there. He had something to ask me!!!

HE ASKED ME TO MARRY HIM!!!!!!!

Of course i said yes :) i had been waiting for this day for 7 years and i thought it would never come.
Now i know why him and dad were acting strange,he had asked dad if he could marry me and let me tell you that was the hardest secret both my dad and rob had to keep.

The rest of the holiday we just relaxed and caught up with friends which was great.

Now the fun starts organising the wedding. We have organised the reception already and we are trying to find a venue for the ceremony as the church we had booked said we couldnt have it due to there being a festival on the same time.
But thats ok im sure we will find something.

The first week of january we came back from Perth and pretty much got straight back into work.
So here we are....the beginning of Feb and the year is already flying by.

I will put some pictures up in my Album to for you to have a look at and from time to time i will add more to so keep looking.

But here are some pictures to look at in the meantime until i get the album organised.!
