• Tuesday 23 January 2007 - Who's that... in the bushes? Steve Irwin? Russell Coight? No... it's Goannaman!

Permanent Link
We escaped over the weekend... went to Blackdown Tablelands with the kids (well, minus one who couldn't get the time off work). It's one of those lovely lost and leafy spots that I've wanted to visit for so long... but more about the place some other post. This one is specifically to point out that some people can be rather silly... even without the aid of alcohol.

We returned from a morning hike to find our rubbish had been raided. There were bits of plastic and paper strewn around, and it didn't take us long to discover the culprits... Goannas... three of them.

"Ooh, they're cute," gushed Miss 14 (or should I say 15thisyear), "can we take one home?" (Miss 14 is a reptile freak, and has been hassling us for a snake (or lizard if we won't let her have a snake) for several years now).
"No, you can NOT!" replied the mother (such a meanie). "Apart from the fact that you can't just keep a native species... reptile or not... the bastards have big claws and sharp teeth. They'll climb up your leg if they get a fright, and rip it to shreds in the process... and besides, their mouths are disgusting. If it bites you, you'll get septicemia, or something."

This led into a long ranting (but informative) story of how I learnt to shoot at the age of around 6 or 7. At the time we lived on a cattle station in west Qld, and it was my job to look after the chooks. This meant collecting the eggs, feeding the chooks, keeping the predators out, and patching up the fence when they did get in. About the only predators we really had to worry about were foxes and goannas... neither of which are very pleasant if you come face to face with them. Hence, I learnt to shoot at a relatively young age. The foxes were easy, it was the goannas that proved a challenge. Their skin is tough and wrinkled, which would bounce the bullets off... leaving them slightly annoyed... if that happens, RUN... they know who did it... and they're quick. The trick to killing them was to get them in the soft spot just behind their ear, aiming into the skull towards the brain... and that's today's lesson.

No, it's not... today's lesson is on listening to others... and thinking carefully before acting.

SOMEONE... we won't say who... decided that he should show the kids how to feed a goanna. Hmmm... isn't that a bit silly, dear? Didn't you hear what I just said?? About the teeth and the septicemia??? It's probably not the best thing to show the kids, don't you think???? But no... Crocodile Dundee here just HAD to have a go... so despite the idea not being the best (in my books, at least) I grabbed the camera. I certainly wasn't going to miss out on this opportunity. I'll admit, it looked really cool the first time...

Even the second and third... keep those fingers tucked away now...

And then he decided to offer the beast the little bit of meat that had stuck to his thumb. Stupid, stupid, stupid! Or... as he puts it (after the fact though, mind you)... he just wanted to show the kids that goannas really do have teeth... and they're sharp. What better lesson could they get? Good idea, baby... what a brainwave!

So far so good with the septicemia thing...

I love the hindsight wisdom, trying frantically to save face.
I remember reading about a woman doing that sort of thing here in the States so she could get a good picture. She smeared honey on her baby's hand so that a bear would lick it off for that cutesy-poo factor. The bear, failing to understand this, ate the baby's whole hand. Permanent Link

Thirdly - I nearly died when you told me how to shoot one! I have to sell them as pets on a daily basis here!
Fourthly - Sorry Gryph, but don't put your fingers in their mouth!!!
And...
This might give you some food for thought re the septicemia thing...

• Tuesday 23 January 2007 - Pets, Gabby???

Posted by tinacee
Really? Goannas? Apart from my inbred dislike for the creatures... wouldn't they be too big and difficult to house? I've never heard of anyone having a pet one before. Now, don't get me wrong, I like lizards... I'm just not all that impressed with the ones that could disembowel a child with ease. Apart from this episode, I have seen what a goanna can do. Their claws alone can cut down to the bone. Imagine the pressure needed to climb a tree as quickly as they do. Add the fact that I've seen them 3 or 4 metres long and the damage can triple. I've seen a leg literally ripped to shreds because one thought it was a tree.

As for the snake... the answer was yes years ago... providing she buys the licence and cage (the more she wants one, the more likely she is to get a job to pay for it). It's a pretty expensive pastime when all is taken into account. Having said that... my niece has a couple of pairs of snakes and is just waiting for them to mature a bit more before breeding them. She's promised my daughter one for her 18th birthday... cage (which she builds) and all. All that's left to pay for will be the licence. She's rapt.

Including the giant Gould's Monitor!
You should have a chat to TheBat45, she breeds Merton's Monitors I think and her female is called Princess Diana!
Captive bred make great pets! I even heard of one being walked on a lead in Kalgoorlie! We have a smaller species, a ridge-tailed monitor who is an ambassador on our school incursions called Princess who really seems to like human company! Everyone wants to take her home! I guess it depends which side of the fence you experience them from first!

some might put them on the same level as dogs. And these ones certainly didn't mind humans. They hung around the camp for a while and they didn't really hassle anyone too much. They could have attacked us if they wanted to, but they were happy just to hope for something to eat. I think they're pretty well fed too. A couple of them had old injuries to their tails (I'll show you sometime), which told me that they might have annoyed the wrong people at some time. That gave me the shits... because despite my dislike they are just animals and deserve to be left alone.

Anyway... for those who are interested... here's his take...

• Sunday 1 October 2006 - Emu Park Beach

Permanent Link
Emu Park has some beautiful beaches... some white sand, some with pebbles, and some of the most amazing rocky outcrops that you can imagine. This time we stopped near the little jetty. On one side of the stone structure you'll find a calm sandy little beach, perfect for taking the kids for a dip. It's a little inlet that rarely has what I'd call waves... you could only describe them as ripples. It's also quite shallow, and when the tide goes out it goes out a long way.

This makes for good opportunities to interest the kids with stories of birdlife, fish and soldier crabs. My kids have always loved the sight of little sand balls on the beach... and many an hour has been spent (by one or another of them), catching the little crabs, playing with them and begging for a new 'pet'. Oh, by the way... did you know that baby seagulls have a mottled back, similar to a kookaburra?

The other side of the jetty is just rock.

These rocks stop the waves from reaching the little inlet on the other side of the jetty. You'll need to be wearing good shoes when you walk out here. The rock is volcanic and chock-filled with fossilised shells and other sea-type creatures from ancient times. It also supports many species of little shells, barnacles, etc. The birds love them too, so you can always be assured to find some there.

This shag?? was sunning himself on the rocks.

If nothing else, it provides some wonderful photo opportunities. There's nothing quite like splashing water...

But spilling water is pretty cool too...

And we found this little guy in one of the rockpools. Now, I'm no fish expert, but I think this is some kind of puffer fish. They have big teeth, if I recall correctly and I think they are at least mildly poisonous. This shot was taken just moments after this conversation with my 15 year old son...
15- 'If I find a fish, do you want me to catch it and bring it to you to take photos of?'
Me- 'Only if it's not poisonous.'
15- 'So which ones are poisonous?'
Me- 'Most of the ones you'll find in rockpools.'
15- 'Oh.'
He didn't try to touch any of them.

• Sunday 1 October 2006 - Kershaw Gardens

Permanent Link
The Kershaw Gardens is a nicely thought out park area in the heart of Rockhampton. This place has been a good friend to me in the past... maybe even my saviour. There are many man-made, but very natural looking pathways to explore. Some are completely paved, and then there are the ones like this... it's almost like being lost in the bush... and in places you can barely even hear the cars that zoom past on the highway.

All of the plants have been named and signed, and the different trees attract their own unique brand of wildlife into the park. There's always plenty to look at and appreciate. It was a hot, bright day when we visited, so the light was hard to deal with. This pic really doesn't do these black cockatoos any justice. They're beautiful.

There are thousands of butterflies in little clusters everywhere. This guy was obliging enough to stay still for me for a bit.

There's a lovely playground for the kids, filled with fun equipment of all sizes and shapes. This bench nearby took my eye. I like the way the bright colours contrast with the trees.

This old Southern Cross windmill was brought in in pieces and re-assembled near the scented gardens. I liked the way the sun flared... you can see how hot the day was.

The scented gardens is a circle of fragrant plants and herbs around a pretty fountain. It's a nice place to stop and appreciate the smells of nature. The water spilling out of the fountain proved too much to resist.

At the end of the walk is the waterfall. It's completely man-made , from the rocks to the plants to the lagoon. The water level is a bit low at the moment, so a couple of the 'spills' have been cut off to conserve water. It still looks pretty spectacular though.

The lagoon attracts many species of waders and water birds. This little water hen made her way across my viewfinder, so...

It also supports a number of other creatures... insects, fish... and turtles. This place is cool.

Go down to any beach around the Emu Park area and you'll find that they contain a lot of rocks. Rocks on the beach are an extra bargain. Not only do they harbour little rock pools filled with interesting little creatures, but they hold the secrets of millions of years too. Fossils aplenty... one of my favourite things... just lying around everywhere, waiting to be discovered.

Anyone for some million year old worms??

You can just see where the lava from some ancient volcano has pooled, cooled and cracked.

Use your imagination... this could be either the remains of a huge clam-type shell or the remnants of volcanic bubbles...

And when you look at these huge shaley monuments you can appreciate that some force must have pushed them upwards like that. You can almost visualise the continental shelves slamming together all those millions of years ago. I love rocks.

Permanent Link
We've been out and about a bit since our move. I thought I'd use that as an excuse to show you all a bit about our local area. We've taken the kids down to the beach a few times... this beach is in the main Yeppoon area. It was choppy this day... not so rough that there was foam on the water's edge, but the receding waves were making a nice pattern on the beach.

We took myriads of shots of the kids, and after all the fun we took a little stroll around. We found some little crabs... my daughter brought one to me to preserve for posterity.

Then when we looked carefully, we found that there was life everywhere. How many life-forms can you name?

We left the beach in search for something to fill the rapidly growing holes in our bellies. On the way I made the driver stop so that I could get this shot of a local having his lunch. He was gliding in a strong updraft while chewing away at whatever it is that he's holding in his talons.

Fish and chips in hand, we stopped on top of wreck point for lunch. I liked the look of this sign.

Then we made some new friends... some of them nicer than others. This guy has no foot on his left leg. He wasn't doing too badly though. The able-bodied seagulls were busy trying to chase him away, but he was quick. He managed to get his fair share of the spoils.

I almost wasn't going to show you this one... it's kind of freaky, somehow...

• Sunday 24 September 2006 - Hello there...

Permanent Link

Hey guys! How’s things? We’ve missed you all… sorry it’s taken so long to touch base. We haven’t had enough time to scratch lately. We have managed to get access to a friend’s puter a couple of times, but had to answer emails and what-not, which didn’t leave enough time to catch up. So I’m doing this in preparation for the next time. We’ve got our computer set up, but we don’t have internet connection. I figure that if I get some stuff together on a disc it won’t take so long next time I’m there.

So, what have we been doing for the last couple of weeks? Well…

We’re currently taking up most of the space underneath our friends, T and N’s place. Yes, once again we’re abusing our friends’ generosity. They looked after us the last time we were homeless too. They’re legends and we love ‘em heaps.

We had to find some of the animals new homes when we moved out. We decided that we were going to keep Bitty, and perhaps the cat. I placed an ad in the local rag for the others. Missy was gone before the paper even hit the streets. My niece and her partner (who had graciously agreed to look after them for us for a few nights) fell in love with her and decided that they needed a new family member. This could not have made me (or G) happier, because it means that we can still visit her. Boo was taken by a young fellow from the bush. He seemed like a nice young bloke, looking for a good friend. He’s got a bit of space for her to run, and his mate has a good-looking boy puppy that she might be able to befriend. She’ll be happy out there. In the meantime though, little Bitty has disappeared. She was pretty stressed and must have decided that she didn’t like it here. We found her down the road a couple of times and bought her back, but she escaped again. No sign of her yet… some old lady probably found her and took her in. I hope so, anyway. So now we have Jack. He’s the only one left. Oh… the cat… My ex-sister-in-law, K agreed to look after her for us… And I think she (and my niece) has claimed her. The goats went back from whence they had come… another friends’ farm. If we get another place in the bush we’ll take them with us, but if we have to stay in town they’ll stay on as permanent residents. That all taken care of was a weight off our shoulders. We miss them all like mad, but at least they’re all taken care of.

Most of the last couple of weeks I’ve spent looking through houses. There are a couple of good prospects in the housing department, but they are in town… well most of them. Keep your fingers crossed, we might be able to find something kind of bush-y yet. There are a couple on offer, but the market is pretty fierce at the moment. Actually, I was so surprised to find how the real estate market has changed in less than a year. For a start, we’re looking at an average $50 per week more for a similar house. Real estate prices have just boomed around these parts. But to make it worse (well, from my point of view) some of the real estate offices now no longer hand out keys so that you can inspect the houses for rent. Instead, they have open days specifically for everyone to have a look through the houses. Yeah, that’s ok, I suppose… but it’s a bit of a pain when you can only look at a couple of houses per day. It was far more convenient from a prospective tenant’s point of view, to be able to look at a half a dozen houses in a day. Aannd… certain real estates don’t advertise the prices of the houses any more. You put in a bid with your application and they usually take the best one. I guess this ensures that the owner gets the best deal for his house… but it kind of feels like entering a lottery. No matter, hopefully we won’t have to look for much longer.

Speaking of moving… guess what!!?? No, go on… you’ll never guess. My sister is applying for some houses down here!! She might be coming down to live!!! Yay!!!! Tracy’s been off-line for a few weeks now. Her puter is playing up, and the doctors don’t know what’s wrong with it. She should be back online soon though… she got cranky with them the other day. They have promised action!

We have managed to get out and do some exercise too. And it’s about time too… I got on the scales this morning and was a little shocked… to say the least. All I’m going to say about that is ‘Damn T and her home-cooked meals’. I’m going to have to get out and walking a bit more, I think. Driving around from house to house all day long does nothing for your exercise quotient, let me tell you. Add to that the yummy food factor, and it’s a recipe for disaster. I can use the photo factor to add more weight to the argument, if necessary.

Well, I should away and have a quick read. There's so much I need to catch up on.

(PS)  I was going to show you some pics, I even got some ready to post... saved them onto disc and everything... but I didn't re-size them. I'll have to post them next time... I'll have time to have another try then. Oh well... at least you got some witty repartoirre. Take care all... we miss you guys heaps.

Steve Irwin died this morning. He was shooting a doco off the coast of Port Douglas, in the north of QLD, and was stung through the chest by a sting-ray.

Condolences to Terri, Bindy and Bob. He'll be missed by many, I think.

Steve Irwin dead

The naturalist and television star Steve Irwin has died in a diving accident in far north Queensland. He was 44.

Police say he was stung through the heart by a stingray while diving off Port Douglas.

He was filming a documentary when the accident occurred around midday AEST near the Low Isles.

A helicopter arrived with paramedics on board to try to resuscitate him, but it was too late.

Irwin's body is being taken to the morgue in Cairns.

His family are believed to be flying from Brisbane to Cairns this afternoon.

Irwin, who was was born in Victoria in 1962, inherited his love of reptiles from his father.

His father Bob was a keen reptile enthusiast and moved the family to Queensland in 1970 to open a small reptile park on the Sunshine Coast.

Irwin took over the family business in 1991 and grew it into Australia Zoo.

In 1992 he ventured into television, making the first series of the Crocodile Hunter.

When the program aired in the United States, he shot to international fame.

Irwin is survived by his wife Terri and two children.

Nature lover

In 2003, he spoke to the ABC's Australian Story about how he was perceived in his country.

"When I see what's happened all over the world, they're looking at me as this very popular, wildlife warrior Australian bloke," he said.

"And yet back here in my own country, some people find me a little bit embarrassing.

"You know, there's this... they kind of cringe, you know, 'cause I'm coming out with 'Crikey' and 'Look at this beauty'.

"Just say what you're gonna say, mate. You know, is it a cultural cringe? Is it, they actually see a little bit of themselves when they see me, and they find that a little embarrassing?

"I'm fair dinkum, like kangaroos and Land Cruisers, winged keels and bloody flies! I think we've lost all that. I think we've all become very, sort of, money people."

He also spoke of his love for surfing.

"You get out there, it's just you against the waves.

"There's no paparazzi, there's no fan base, and it gives me a chance to recuperate and regenerate.

"I think I've actually got animals so genetically inside me that there's no way I could actually be anything else.

"I think my path would have always gone back to or delivered me to wildlife. I think wildlife is just like a magnet, and it's something that I can't help."

There are already some crass jokes circulating the net. It makes me feel a bit ill. Despite his sometimes funny and over the top antics, I still believe he was a genuine human being. Irwin did alot for the Australian tourism industry and to promote conservation; which is something that is getting overlooked amidst the 'crikey' jokes.
Most of all, though, he was a father and husband; and my heart goes out to his family.

• Saturday 2 September 2006 - Birds from the Rockhampton Botanical Gardens.

Permanent Link
The other day at the gardens we saw some really cool birds. I just thought some of you might like to see some. This first is one of the cheeky ibis' and a crow that hang out near the BBQ area and playground.

The ibis is a pretty funny looking bird. I was fascinated by the red spots on the back of his head.

This kookaburra had just dived down at something under the leaves. I got this shot as he was looking up to see where he was going next.

Unlucky...

There were two cockatoos in this tree. As we walked past we heard a 'chunk' sound and looked around to see a number of seed pods on the ground. The cockatoos were chewing the seed pods off and dropping them down onto the ground. One of them stuck into the ground, sticking up vertically. The kids were warning all of the passer-by's that they were in danger.
"Killer cockatoos. Be careful, there's killer cockatoos up there."

These Rainbow Lorikeets were hassling a few tourists at the cafeteria. They decided that they wanted the strawberry jam in the container, so the tourists had no choice but to hand it over.

Not happy. NOT VERY F&^$ING HAPPY AT ALL.

Here I was assuming that the administration staff at White Page would rid us of the scum that have permeated every other public site on the internet... but no. Apparently this pond-scum is doing nothing wrong.
I assumed that there would be a good reason as to why the blog doesn't show up on his profile, but is still accessable... police action and investigation, maybe. Nah, it seems to be as simple as the fact that it's all legal and legit... fuck, who cares about what's right or moral.

Now, I never thought that I would be criticising White Page Admin. As far as I was concerned, their

I thought that they were doing their utmost to provide us with a blog site that was free from pornography and indecency. Unfortunately, I'm not so sure about this any more. The little girl in this album is very definitely modelling for the camera in provocative poses. Look at ALL of the photos. They are NOT decent. I don't know how you can possibly tell me that you honestly can't see anything wrong with those.

I am sure that when I joined with White Page I read in the rules that indecency and pornography will not be tolerated. However, I can't be sure about that now, because I couldn't find them just now when I went looking. The rules and regulations now seem to have disappeared. Could you please tell me where the rules and regulations of White Page are now so that I can check into the exact wording?

Why else would someone have a site full of children's photos?... photos of little girls... there are no boys anywhere in these albums... except for a few photos where the boys are with girls. This is a front for a kiddy porn site, Marcel. Why else is this person, who is a US citizen, be using a Tongan domain? We all know that Tongan pornography laws are much more relaxed than anywhere else in the world. Please don't tell me that you are stupid.

This is an attempt at procuring more members from our blog site. I do not appreciate this blog at all... and I know of a few others who agree with me. I know that several of us have made complaints to various police groups... worldwide. Do you really want White Page to be associated with paedophilia? This site became so popular because of the relative safety that it promoted. I can assure you that your numbers would drop radically if it were to become known as a child hunting ground... and I would be one of those who would leave.

I would urge you to investigate much more thoroughly, and do it quickly before this person manages to procure more photos from our children. I hope that he doesn't procure anything else from any of them.

This will take you to the contact form for White Pages support. If you don't agree with this decision, send a message and let them know just what you do think. If they don't do anything about this germ, send more messages... flood the administrators with our concerns and maybe they will do something.

This will take you directly to the post comment page on the blog in question. Flood him with comments too. Tell him what you think. Maybe he will decide that it's not worth it to stay here, and leave of his own volition.

I have resisted chat forums and blog forums for a long time... for this very reason. It is not safe as most of them don't have the balls to tell paedophiles that they are not welcome. I thought that White Page was different. I have even recruited my friends and family into the fold. I am disgusted. Let me know what you think... and please let White Page Support know what you think.

As you can see, I'm very VERY pissed off that my family and I are forced to live with this shit. If White Page still don't want to rid us of this scourge, I'm afraid I might not be around here for too much longer. I will take myself and my family away from this forum. I feel that strongly.

Surely, whitepage admin must not only take into consideration the legality of a blogsite, but the intent. The intention of this site, http://www.whitepage.com.au/paige/%20 is not to blog, but to use whitepage to point to a webpage featuring photos of children. One really has to ask why he does this. Legal reasons, perhaps?

Whitepage admin really has to consider whether by looking to the rights of this blogger, that they are not denying the rights of other bloggers who come to whitepage specifically because it is porn free. While this blog may not fit the legal definition of porn or paedophilia, I think other bloggers have every right to be very suspicious of his true motives. If his blog is so innocent, then why does he feel the need to post this on his blog page. "Remember: Appreciate but never touch!" Permanent Link

I have checked out the photos that you have referred to, I felt a bit embarrassed and guilty looking, as I felt the internet police were going to track me down at any moment.

Okay there are no naked shots, but the poses were NOT the typical poses that a girl of that age would normally do. Also interesting that the girl in question is generally in a bikini - one step away from being nude.

Lets face it, we all know that these children stalkers don't need the children to be nude to "do their thing" (sorry I am trying to be polite).

I say remove the blog. This is a family friendly blog site. We don't need this on "OUR" site. It is our site, I have been here for about 3 weeks and compared to another blog site I have been on, this place at whitepages is like a family, we all try and support each other. We DO NOT want creeps like this here!!!!!! There is enough of it elsewhere on the net without it being here.

So I say get it and anything similar off of OUR blog site.

Thank you Tina for pointing it out to us, I am sure you will get the response you were expecting from fellow bloggers.

Lets get them,

My 13 year old son just walked into the room, and without saying anything about the issue, I showed him the photos and just said, "What do you think of these photos?" His reply was, "Not good, photos like that shouldn't be on the web, just look at the way she is posing." Now if my 13 year old son knows that these photos are NOT appropriate, then I think we have a valid argument.

I have complained both to Whitepages and the blogger in question.

Thank you also to everyone else who got behind this. As I said... it's time to tell these germs that this is not to be accepted any more. I'm proud to call you all friends. Much love. XX Permanent Link

• Thursday 31 August 2006 - It's a sickness. If you're affected with it, get some help.... please.

Permanent Link
I have just removed all of the photos of children that I had on my blog. Why? Because we have someone amongst us who is, in my eyes, is nothing more than a paedophile. This blog, Forever Young, is advocating the abuse of children by supplying links to sites where you can find photos of kids.

Now, I don't just assume the worst... I checked out the links. Some of the photos made me feel sick. This is the comment that I left this germ...

You're sick if you can't see what's wrong with this... go get some help
Children are beautiful and innocent, aren't they? Pretty and happy and trusting... That is until they are exposed to sick mongrels who get their jollies by looking at this kind of filth. Make all the protests that you like about not touching... the fact remains that by the time you see the pictures, someone has already stolen their innocence away from them. And you just know that if you admit to the truth of what you really want to do you'll be in trouble. There's a reason for that. Children suffer because of paedophillia. They have their childhood innocence stolen from them, and the trauma stays with them for the rest of their lives. Children everywhere deserve to be protected from 'people' like you.

We are not stupid, and we don't want your kind... not in our blog forum, and not in our country. You are sick and you need help. If you really like kids that much then get the help that you need to get over your illness... and start to protect the kids from yourself. If everyone like you did the same thing, we might get rid of this plague.

Some of the kids on the associated site are wearing very little clothing, and most are in provocative poses. There are even photos of kids that can only be two or three years old. Some of them are innocent pics of cute little kids, but when you steel yourself to have a look through the gallery, it becomes quickly apparent that it's simply a site to promote kiddy porn. There are many, many shots of little girls in bikinis... little girls in poses that should only be kept for the pages of magazines like Playboy... little girls with their legs spread... little girls with their bums exposed as they bend over and smile back at the camera... little girls in underwear, suspender stockings and high-heels... little girls with things in their mouths... little girls holding phallic-shaped objects... little girls lying back on lounge chairs with their backs arched... little girls with their arms crossed over their naked chests... little girls with no shirts touching other little girls with no shirts...

DOES ANY OF THIS SOUND WRONG, OR IS IT JUST ME???

Obviously it's NOT just me as there are quite a few people who have expressed a concern about this blog. But it's also obvious to me that there are some sick puppies out there. Sick puppies who try to justify what they are doing by sprouting crap like "Remember: Appreciate but never touch!

What is that crap? What does it mean? In my humble opinion, what they really want to say is...

"Appreciate but never touch... leave it up to someone else to abuse the kids, steal their innocence and wreck their lives just so they can provide you with their brag photos to flog off to.
And if you do like to touch never admit it to people because you might go to jail where you'll become some big muscly guy's bitch... because even hardened criminals hate rock spiders.
And if you don't go to jail, some irate parent might decide to take the law into their own hands and bash your sick fucking head in... so lie, lie, LIE."

I would really like to know how paedophiles can convince themselves that they're doing nothing wrong. Do they not watch the news... or read the newspapers? Do they not realise that a person's sexual function is not fully develloped until adulthood for a reason? Do they not see the damage that they cause? Do they not listen to the population of adults who were abused as children? Do they not read about all the stories of physical and mental problems those children have experienced during their lives? Do they not care? Are they blind, ignorant or just plain stupid?

No, I don't think any of these things are true... except the stupid part. Paedophiles know damned well what they're doing.
They know that what they're doing is wrong, otherwise they wouldn't take the precautions that they do to protect themselves. They would proudly leave their names on comments. They would display their full names and addresses on their sick websites. They would admit what they want to do... to the child's parents and the rest of the community. They would not lie when the police start asking questions. They would not make up a whole bunch of bullshit to present to a jury in order to make the child look like a liar. They DO know what they're doing, and they just DON'T CARE that it is wrong.

Paedophiles seem to believe that their own sexual satisfaction is more important than a child having a happy, innocent and secure childhood. They assume that they are more valuable than the child that they are abusing. And that's where the stupid part comes in... stupid people always assume that they have a greater worth than they really do.

The fact is that paedophiles (no matter what their profession or knowledge is) are germs... diseases. They are the rot that eats away at the soul of humanity. Personally, I would have them all locked away for the rest of their lives. If they think it's ok to deny another person their freedom, trust and rights just to provide themselves with some kind of perverted pleasure, why then, should we allow them those same rights? They cause suffering to innocent human beings, so why shouldn't they be made to suffer for the rest of their lives too.

No... I have a better idea... we should tattoo the word PAEDOPHILE on their forehead, and then force them to live with the rest of society. Let THEM think about the act for the rest of THEIR lives. Let THEM feel the shame and guilt that THEY so rightly deserve, rather than the kids. Let THEM cut themselves because it takes away the pain inside of them. Let THEM consider suicide because their lives aren't worth living. Let THEM live in fear of what the next person THEY meet is going to do to them. Let THEM hide themselves away behind locked doors because that's the only place THEY feel safe. Let THEM live their lives with the same fears and insecurities that they force upon the children that they abuse.

It's about time that we victims stopped blaming ourselves and stood up to the perpetrators of this sick form of abuse. It's time we tell them what they have done to us. It's time to make them listen... to make them come face to face with the wrongness of it all.
It's time to rid ourselves of the plague that we're hiding and breeding because of our own shame. It's time to take the scary, shameful skeletons out of our closets and carry them around with us for everyone to see. It's time to change laws and change society. It's time to scream out with all of our might that this is not to be accepted. It's time to put an end to it, once and for all.

I agree. This germ is listed as being an american, so our laws can't touch him. But we should be able to have his blog shut down. Some of those photos are definate attempts at kiddy porn. I'm sure that most of us don't want it here.

I know of several bloggers who have already complained. However, adding your voice to the complaint can only add weight to it. Find the word 'help' on your screen, click on it and then find 'contact support'. Add your complaint to those of the rest of us. Thanks Snowy.

I agree with what has been said in all of the discussions. If it is as bad as claimed then it is a Police and/or Interpol matter, and should be followed up.
I have not seen the kiddy material in question (nor do I want to). Are you sure this is not an Inquisition, over-reaction type of thing? (I haven't see the stuff).

In order to have the site shut down you can go to the Contact Us section of this website and campaign via the auto-form. (Don't forget the URL for the page)
In the 'About Us' section of this site AAA MARKETING WORLD PTY LTD, the company that hosts the site, states : --- You may publish anything you like on your blog as long as the content is legal and non-offensive. --- I'm not a solicitor but I do not offensive when it lurks in dark corners oggling kids.

Also, as paedophilia is an international Sex Crime the country of origin for the abuser can help us. In the USA there is the US National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children and at their website www.missingkids.com there is a link to the Cyber Tipline; or you can go to the website directly via www.cybertipline.com (don't forget the URL).

Also, the Australia Federal Police can help us and we can report the abuse via the 'Online Child Sex Exploitation Form' you can visit it directly at: https://www.afp.gov.au/online_forms/ocset_form

The URL (so you don't have to visit the page to get it) is http://www.whitepage.com.au/paige/%20

Remember we can make a difference. Permanent Link

The blog 'owner' was/is US based. It appears the blog itself has been deleted or removed from Whitepage (thanks Whitepage).
It basically provided links to photo storage sites with images of this type of child abuse. I have no doubts (having investigated this sort of scum before) that if one was to delve further, there would be links to more explicit child abuse.
Some of you may know of the 'clik.to' and other similar web presences. They are commonly used by porn sites and warez sites as they don't have to be concerned with laws against this stuff in places such as Tonga etc (.to is the top level domain suffix for Tonga...like Australia's .au)

One important thing. The more people complain, the more concerted the action will be against these types of predators. Complaints have been made to the site hosting the images as well. Unfortunately, it is unlikely that this germ's web site under the .to domain will be removed. However, that may be good in that it will be easier to track him/her.

If EHAP were still operating, this scum could be traced pretty easily. Unfortunately, I don't think they are. Might see if there are any other 'ethical hackers' doing the same stuff as EHAP nowadays. If you are interested, do a quick googlew for ehap. Their site at www.hackers.com/ehap is no longer up though. However, there are plenty of articles relating to them.

I think we're pretty lucky that we can rely on Whitepage admins to remove this type of stuff as soon as they see it, or as soon as it is reported to them. Permanent Link
