Here's another little tit-bit that someone sent me. I laughed and laughed and laughed... but only because I'm such a big Wiggles fan. Many hours of stress-free, whinge-free time have been awarded me by this particular band, and I will be forever grateful for that small mercy. For that they have become akin to semi-gods to me. I'm even willing to happily accept Sam as our new Yellow Wiggle... even though I personally believe that the Yellow Jersey should have been retired alongside Greg. Sam should have been the Green Wiggle...or the Orange Wiggle... or the Peuce Wiggle, I believe.
However, one has to wonder about a kids' band who can release something as... ummm, how do I put this... as slightly odd as the following clip (dubbed the 'Creepiest 4 minutes of children's TV ever'). These puppets seem to have something wrong with them... some of them are just downright scary. And I have a few questions? What is Greg doing with his finger there? What did Anthony see that was so frightening? Why doesn't Jeff look sleepy? How did they make Murray's puppet look so life-like? And why is Dorothy the only real character in the clip? Check it out. It's as funny as .......
I'm not sure if it's technically a bra..., but it IS a little disturbing, isn't it??... It makes me wonder how they came up with the idea... were they sitting around the table after a few turpses one night giggling to themselves about how successful they ended up being? Did Greg turn to Anthony and say "I reckon we could get away with anything... We're the Wiggles." Was it the result of a drunken dare, perhaps? I have to wonder.
Anyway, I still think it's funny. Anything that can make me laugh that hard has to be good.
And thanks Heather, we're all healthy and have a modicum of happiness in our lives. We've had a lovely christmas, and our new years' is looking fairly busy already. I'll blog about what's been happening soon, I promise. I just need to get some spare time first... there's lots to tell.
