The boys in action... I'm going to get in trouble for this... but these are also some of my favourite shots of the weekend, so I have a legitimate justification.
Saturday.... Boys being boys... A break in the hard yakka was demanded when the slingshots were uncovered. By this stage they'd been carting furniture for a few hours and had the first load about ready to go. We decided by majority poll that a bit of R&R was in order. The boys got the slingshots and we got the cameras, so we were all happy.
From left: Mick (the hand) and Macca, my nephew.

Sunday... heading in for the first load. The boys doing their best to retain their anonymity. LM9 and I stayed at home and tidied the girl's room. Packed up a lot of stuff that went into the next load. I still haven't culled my clothes yet.

Sunday Afternoon... The bonfire had been going for a while. This bookcase was one of the cullable items, so the boys had to chuck it onto the fire too. Mick and Macca (out of shot) had a ball destroying stuff. One... Two... Threeeee.......
Just as it's leaving their hands...

And just as it's landing.
If you look carefully, you can see that the bookcase has knocked a few of the bricks into the fireplace. On the right of Mick's legs you can see them just starting to fall inwards.

Ok, now I've got to type up some minutes for the P&C... then the clothes. And I'm not going to let myself stop. I want to get more stuff done before tonight. Oh, I'm going to sleep for a week when this is over.
