He's a nice looking beastie, isn't he?

We have a community of these lads that have their evening meeting in the gum trees out the back. They vie for the tallest lookout trees with the cockies (now those are some noisy buggers), galahs, magpies and mudlarks at dusk. The flying displays are awesome. Once they've got their spot sorted out though, they all just sit there and sqawk for about half an hour, then all fly away.

I am convinced that they are not only seriously intelligent, but are also probably the most easy going and polite creatures on the face of the earth.
