"What are the top 10 albums of all time as voted by the nation? The results were revealed in My Favourite Album, which aired on Sunday, December 3, at 7:30pm.

It is truly an unexpected and exciting list."

Hmm...

Unexpected indeed. Of course, these kind of shows are always open to abuse (as Dad frequently reminded me), but still, I found the results...interesting.

For those who didn't watch the show (or had no idea what I was talking about), here is the top 10....

Pink Floyd — Dark Side Of The Moon
Jeff Buckley — Grace
Radiohead — Ok Computer
The Beatles — Abbey Road
The Beatles — Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
Nirvana — Nevermind
Led Zeppelin — Led Zeppelin 4
Red Hot Chili Peppers — Blood Sugar Sex Magik
Meat Loaf — Bat Out Of Hell
U2 — The Joshua Tree

That's right, Dark Side Of The Moon. I found that surprising. I was also surprised to hear that Jeff Buckley was named for second place, as I only really know one song by him.

Overall, I don't think that this top 10 list sounds like Australia's favourites. It could be any country. That's not to say I'm displeased with it all, as I was quite happy to see Led Zeppelin in there, and I'm rather fond of Dark Side Of The Moon (which I'm actually listening to now).

Excuse me?! How dare you! You can't blame my lousy typing skills for anomalies in my spelling! Nor can you suggest my liking for stupid words such as spellerer are in fact accidents, rather than actual choices!

So next time you make wild comments, think of the consequences! The most ridiculous of course being my exaggerated, overuse (hehe...) of exclamation marks!
