more about "Brian Eno Harold Budd The Plateaux of Mi", posted with vodpod "Being In Dreaming" by Florinda Donner, is a book that has been part of my personal library for many years. My original copy went walking after I lent it to a friend, and a number of years ago I was drawn to repurchase it. It sat in my bookshelf for all that time, and even though I culled my books a number of times, I had no desire to toss it out. Surprisingly, just recently, I felt drawn to open it and start reading. It is about cultivating our connection with the abstract and "dreaming" in particular. It is not about "normal" dreaming but "dreaming" from the place where the Toltec Warriors dream. They call their art sorcery, though you have to read the book to get a better understanding of what they are actually referring to by using that term. This video by Brian Eno & Harold Budd is a bit like the dreamscapes I experience when I have given my abstract imagination space to spread its wings and fly. I might add more about the book "Being in Dreaming" later, but for now just have a great day. |
