GERRY JOE WEISE has been experimenting in contemporary art since the late 70s. Anything and everything concerning different cultures, mythology, nature, the Universe, the Cosmos; anything leading up to being an universal artist, and everything concerning different mediums : canvas, wood, bark, earth, metal, stone, photography, video, writing, etc..., has been Gerry Joe Weise's goal in achieving a comment on the Earth and the Universe. In using Lowbrow Art for the following colorful works, Weise is commenting on today's society, consumerism, our weakness, and our pitiful situation on this planet.
