15/7/2008 - I think I might sign off on this blog.
To everyone who has ever taken an interest in Ebay and my blog, thanks very much, and I hope I have been able to both vent my frustrations and help you to dig up the dirt on Ebay, and what a scumbag company it really is, and to provide you with alternatives to both passively wearing their bullshit and to promote the looking at better, more honest and responsible auction sites.
My gripe has always been almost wholly with the Ebay / Paypal company it's self and not particuarly the "collective" of humanity that buy and sell - on the site.
Where and what people choose to sell and buy, really is your own business, and I'm OK with that....
I am not OK with being lied too, and pissed around by the people who manage and work for Ebay and Paypal, and while we tend to only focus on the things that matter to us - individually and that affect us;
My hope is that within the internet community - that Ebays capacity to trump their own stupidity and greed and barefaced bullshit, keeps on exceeding even my own imagination.
And their latest pack of lies, that came with trying to force people to use paypal and only paypal on ALL transaction - while trying to get away with spin doctoring the most fucking stupid bullshit....
"Oh we are only doing it to make transactions safer"
Yeah - if you combine
Insertion fees, final sale fees
AND
Paypal transaction fees, Paypal account withdrawl fees...
Which alters the revenue stream a whole heap upwards per sale, with Ebay and Paypals proven track record of providing no account security, no customer service and
The only change is being able to fleece people a MINIMUM of FOUR times per sale, instead of just TWO.......
Sure it's all being done for "a safer way to trade" and "a better buying expereince" - or as the terds in Ebay call it - a BBE...
Then there is the stealing of peoples freedom to choose. The management of Ebay and Paypal are actually stealing peoples right to choose....
And so many have said, "We use direct deposit or money orders etc., and we have never had a problem - it's when we use Paypal we have ALLL the really nasty problems - with Paypal it's self.... - it's a shit hole company - Ebays application to allow them to racketeer ought not be allowed to succeed"...
It's a pretty good turn out - Against Ebay and Paypal...
The thing that really gets up my nose, is when you look at just how insecure Ebay / Paypal actually IS - and then look at the bullshit the people in Ebay and Paypal actually are saying - "Oh paypal is really safe - bullshit bullshit bullshit".
Paypal is a very insecure system, and the company has NO customer service and all they do is fuck people around and rip them off...
Then toss in all of Ebays criminal conduct, and deliberately charted courses of grabbing money, ripping people off and then providing no recourse.. well not providing any of their own avenues for recourse, about their own conduct...
Sure using only Paypal is safer....
The law suits and class actions against Ebay and Paypal - from pissed off and ripped off sellers and buyers and big companies and law enforcement groups, and consumer rights agencies have been happening thick and fast for years, and they are rising......
So the management of Ebay and Paypal and their tactics of ignoring "small (?) issues and individuals" - who generally lack the time and resources to go after this shit hole company and it's practices, well it's not like that any more.
The inertia of consumers - both sellers and buyers, has openly shifted gear into warefare mode, where they really would like to board the building up, and burn it to the ground...
People are openly hostile and they openly hate this company.
And for a lot of good reasons.
Well it's never been true that you can't do anything about Ebay and Paypal and their "dismissive and rip you off practices".
YOU do have rights and YOU can exercise them.
You just gotta believe it and then follow through.
Yep - so the reason why I am signing off on my Fuck Ebay blog, is because after seeing just what a bunch of slimy fuckholes the management of Ebay actually are - and to have seen them bring so much incredibly bad Public Relations upon themselves...
Well - fuck it, forget me calling them names, they have done more to really create MORE, and MORE, and MORE - really, really bad enemies and they have generated soooooooo unbelievably much bad consumer sentiment and loss of "street cred" that I could have ever done in a million years.
They have brought this upon themselves....
The fundamental point is, it's not where you are or who you are or what you choose to buy or sell in the process, it's the actions of the management of Ebay and Paypal - who are fucking people over in the process of buying and selling.
Their latest fiasco in Australia - of trying to FORCE everyone to ONLY use Paypal - that just blew up so badly in their faces -big time..
Their application for immunity to the Australian Racketeering laws...
There was like "one" single written response to ebay that was probably written by an Ebay shrill.... "Oh Ebay and Paypal is so wonderful - their applicaiton should succeed..."
And then there were over 700 responses, very sternly written responses
The lying and bullshit coming out of Ebay and Paypal is nearly impossible to top - but they are keeping right on doing it....
The world's web and street knowledge, is now flooded with Ebays OWN well deserved bad feedback.
The lying, the covering up and the people who manage Ebay -their pulling peoples "not happy with Ebay" posts and all that dirty "cover it all up' bullshit; That's now general knowledge....
The fat is in the fire and all the idiots who run Ebay can do is piss petrol on everything....
The management of Ebay is so fucking stupid, the next bright idea they have is to get a bigger hose.....
Duhhhhh.
And then another week or two pass, and they just invent an even more fucking stupid idea to top that.....
They keep right on ripping people off, and fucking people over and then they keep right on inventing new ways to lie and bullshit and cover it up and then they up the practice of fucking people over even more......
The people who manage Ebay and Paypal are just so fucking stupid - I just don't think people like that can help themselves...
And they just keep on fucking doing it...
I think, partly because of time and other needs, I am kind of content to let the people who work in and manage Ebay go hang themselves.
And they are just so fucking stupid, there is not much merriement to be had anymore, in whipping and beating the imbeciles.
They are just too fucking stupid.....
And they just keep getting worse.
It's a remarkable feat of greed and congenital stupidity.
And they just keep on doing it....
And I just keep right on finding new material on a weekly basis and the management of Ebay and Paypal are doing even more stupid and idiotic things than they were doing the week before......
And it just keeps on getting worse.
After EVERYTHING that Ebay has done to the sellers and buyers and online community... spending any more time on them is getting to be pointless.
The people who manage Ebay are a deliberately and methodically greedy and dishonest bunch of people - who'd one aim is to rip everyone they can off, for everything they can, while they can.....
They ARE going to keep right on showing the world what sort of characters they really are, and they are going to keep right on burning everyone, they think they can get away with burning - while they still can.
My suggestion is to read, write and research.... and compare the alternatives to Ebay - both in terms of cost and reliability.
Ebay loses on all counts.
And some of the competition IS looking really good.
I have said my piece.
Be good to yourself and each other.
Spread a bit of sunshine around, make the world a better place.
Use your head and don't take shit in the process.
