23/5/2008 - Just how many policies does Ebay / Paypal have?
This makes my brain hurt!
PayPal's legal relationship with each User is governed by the User Agreement (it's Paypals USER agreement), the Paypal Financial Services Product Disclosure Statement (it's Paypals PDS) and the PayPal policies (These are Paypals Policies), which are available on PayPal's website (Where else?):
Including the Privacy Policy;
Closing Accounts and Limiting Account Access Policy;
Electronic Funds Transfer Rights and Error Resolution Policy;
Buyer Complaint Policy;
Buyer Protection Policy;
Payments (Sending, Receiving and/or Withdrawing) Policy;
Premier and Business Account Policy;
Fees Policy;
Acceptable Use Policy;
Bonus Policy;
Pre-Approved Payments Policy; and
The Merchant Gift Certificates Policy.
Ummmmm so I am supposed to hire a lawyer for several weeks, every month or two, when ever they change their policies - without notification; and all to save on buying stuff online, as compared to buying in the real world?
I mean with Ebay fleecing sellers and buyers, and the prices going up and the savings going down, all covered by Paypals worthless and convoluted non existant protection.......
I am going to a real shop, with real people, and I am buying real products, without all the Ebay Nazi policies and bullshit.
