Consider this - in regards to Ebays application for an exemption to the Australian Trade Practices Act... so they can legally force EVERYONE to use and only use Paypal - which Ebay own's.
On ALL the feedback on all the sites everyone is saying:
1. Of all the payment methods, available - they all work just fine - it's Paypal where we have the all the problems and the worst experiences.
2. And we KNOW that the management of Ebay is talking out their arse.
3. And we KNOW that the management of Ebay are ONLY doing it to increase their income.
4. Ebays move is to vertically intergrate and LOCK IN their revenue stream - by:
a) Charging people LISTING FEES.
b) Charging people FINAL SALE FEES and
By forcing them to use Paypal only - Ebay then gets two more bites of the cherry:
They will be forcing all people to
c) PAY a Paypal tranaction fee; and
d) Account withdrawl fees.
ALL the individual fees ARE expensive,
And Ebay are setting their own fees,
Ebay are trying to take 4 bites of the cherry.
This is called - "Ripping YOU off."
