Monday, July 7, 2008 - Peter Benchley's The Beast (1996) on DVD finally!
The 1996 made for TV film The Beast is based on Peter Benchley's novel of the same name. Its about a giant squid and is pretty much JAWS with a squid instead of a shark.
TIMELESS MEDIA GROUP released it on the 3rd of June. The film originally went for 3 hours but got chopped down to 2 hours for the TV release. And now has been restored to its original 3 hour run-time. You can also buy the original TV version too.
