This is an illustration of mine in the December 06 issue of Sydney's Child and accompanied an article on kids and food. I had great fun creating her spotty shirt and the spotty table cloth. I drew this image by hand and then coloured it on the computer. I made it into a painting as well for the TinCat Cafe exhibition.

I have been experimenting with paper collage. This girl on roller blades is inspired by the Hungry Catapilla illustrator Eric Carl. I am planning on creating some card designs useing this technique.

An exhibition of my work is now on display upstairs at Tin Cat Cafe 107 Rundle ST Kent Town. I am exhibiting with Carly Schwerdt of Nest Studios who makes soft toys from retro and vintage fabrics. She has made some little versions of my characters. Most of my paintings were inspired by people I met while traveling around Australia and some of them were painted in remote corners of our country. The exhibition runs through December

![]() Hello I have just returned from six months travelling around the coastline of Australia with my family. Some of the highlights were seeing the Australian landscape up close, snorkelling, bush walking and playing hide and seek with kids in caravan parks. I was greatly inspired and was able to pull my sketchbook and watercolours out regularly. I am having an exhibition at Tin Cat Café in December of the work inspired by the people, especially children, that I met while travelling. More on that exhibition shortly! If you are in Broome, Kununurra or on the Cairns and in desperate need of one of my greeting cards pop into SimplyBroom, Boab Books (Kununurra), Candlenut Gallery (Port Douglas, Real Australian Art (Palm Cove) or Goodness Gracious Me (Cains Esplanade). walking to school

If you look closely in the background you can see one picture has fluro yellow faces. I had great fun designing the poster. My Mum used to pretend to fill me up with petrol when I was getting puffed out walking to school.
