How to eat Ice cream a solo exhibtion from the 20 September - 21 October 2007 Opening: 6-8pm Thursday 20 September Urban Cow Gallery Upstairs, 11 Frome Road, Adelaide .........How to eat Ice cream is an exhibition of new illustrations introducing a cast of little people and their pets. How to eat Ice cream presents a cast of illustrated characters such as Katie and Pookie who first appeared in my exhibitions: Look No Hands and Family Holiday in 2005, and Chasing Sea Gulls and Teddy has a Bath in 2006. New characters have since leapt onto the canvas for this exhibition including Brian the storyteller, Belinda who loves doing her hair and Emily who hates being called Jessica's little sister. And for the first time How to eat Ice cream also unleashes animal characters: Tigerpants the cat, Trev the guinea pig, Hop the rabbit along with a silly gaggle of chickens! The exhibition includes oils on canvas, and watercolour on canvas and paper. This exhibition is assisted by the South Australian Government through the South Australian Youth Arts Board.
