His 1996 duo release with the great Chet Atkins "The Day The Finger Pickers Took Over The World" was nominated for a Grammy Award. Tommy Emmanuel was voted "Most Popular Guitarist" by Australia's Rolling Stone Magazine twice, and he has earned 4 Platinum and Gold albums. Not bad for a youngster that learned to play guitar at the age of 4, and started his career with his brother, back in the 1960's.
