An Xmas Rave…

Twas the night before Christmas an all through the pad, aint nothing happening, and the scene was real drab…

She turned down the sound on the player and then, curled up on the floor with a volume of Zen…Well the pad was real quiet, peaceful and still…Then suddenly BANG it was Bang Crash Booms Ville…Man from way up high came a powerful roar, I broke from my trip and rose from the floor, I ran to the window euphorically freaking and stuck my head out to observe what was shaking, I looked up to the sky and what did I dig, there were eight wild elks on a chrome plated rig, a fat little pilot with a big white beard, and a wailing harmonica, man it was weird, well he gave us a smile and good vibed us all, and I knew in a flash it was old Santa Claus…Good tidings to all, I heard him announce, and he called to his elks while rolling an ounce, go Ringo, go Tonto, go Gough and Boo Boo, go Batman go Get Fucked, go Mutt an Jeff too…Well he made for the roof then the chimney climbed in, emerged from the fireplace and flashed a big grin, like I freaked right out when he opened his sack, and said look what I’m fixing to lay on you Jack…There was a Fender guitar and a fiddle in his hand, there was keyboards, a mando, man it was grand.

So we struck up a blow, just for some kicks and Santa sat in and picked a few licks…We played song after song till dawns early light, and it sounded like the Blues Club on a Thursday night…   …   …   …   …

Then Santa said cool it like man that’s it, the suns coming up and I’ve got to split…Well he filled up our stockings and we thanked him a lot, then he said dig you later, and took off like a shot…As he sailed up away he yelled Ho Ho Ho…Merry Christmas to all, and to all a go go.
