27/6/2006 - What a Wanky Commentator!

Posted in aussports
He is one of the most famous Chinese hosts and commentators. But he is a wanker as well. He acted as if he had been an Italian and Australia had destroyed his country. I was startled at his comments (actually he didn't comment on the goal but screamed and talked shit instead). He endlessly praised Francesco Totti for kicking the goal, endlessly praised Italian players and the country, mentioned Paolo Maldini's birthday and other old Italian players' names. Ok. I can understand that he must have loved the Italian team; however, I felt insulted by his words on the Aussie team. He said something like this: "Australia isn't fit for playing on the European soccer field", "Now Australia can go home and not stay in Germany any more", "Australia should go home now". Jesus Christ! I felt ashamed of him who is a professional commentator but doesn't do what a professional commetator should do. His name is Huang Jianxiang. I hope he will feel his ass kicked when Australia beats Japan, Korea and of course China in the next World Cup, being the No. 1 to enter the 2010 World Cup!

27/6/2006 - The words commentator and wanker are interchangeable

Posted by Xiao Zhu
You've articulated it so well. Thank you for telling me the commentators name, I would like to throw a Molotov cocktail through the window of his house. Of course, Italy must attract better ratings than Australia, so from a business point of view, I can understand the commentator rooting for Italy. But I don't reckon he's that smart. Rather, he finally let his hatred for Australia boil over, a side that was ranked with the five African nations as the weakest side of this World Cup. Since Chinese commentators are unprofessional and only know the most famous teams and players, Australia's ability to defy the odds has really dumbfounded them. It probably also annoys them that Australia is clearly a better team than China and will join the Asian Conference for the next World Cup qualifiers. The commentator's unprofessional attitude was clear during the final moments - he said Australia should pack their bags and go home. But hasn't he forgotten that most Australian players live and play in Europe?

Actually, I didn't do anything but write about the soccer event when I reached my office in the risk of being discovered and criticised by doing my own stuff instead of work. But I couldn't wait long to tell the wanker's notorious name and his bad words. Chinese soccer commentators have been rooting for stronger and more famous teams all along the World Cup. I was so happy that Australia beat Japan which Mr. Huang supported. I am looking forward to Australia's next goal and wonderful performances!

Huang supported JAPAN (are you sure)???

He really is a weiro - maybe some Berlin-Rome-Tokyo Axis thing... That is really peculiar... Being as generally Japan is despised throughout Asia (especially Korea and China)... He must be really thick...

I think he supported Japan judging from his commentary. He even thought it was unfair that Japan was playing Australia, holding the strange theory that Aussies are physically stronger than Japs because Aussies eat beef (but he seemed to ignore the fact that Japs eat a lot of fish and they have gradually changed their diet to get taller and stronger as well). Though China and Japan has political and historical disputes, yet most Chinese admit that Japan is really good at soccer. And as an Asian, Huang had the reason to barrack for Japan in that match.

28/6/2006 - Clean some misunderstandings

First you have to read the English Version of Huang JianXiang's comments on the match between Italy and Australia. The following is what Huang exactly screamed during the last three minutes:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Penalty! Penalty! Penalty! Grosso's done it,
Grosso's done it! The great Italian left back! He succeeded in the glorious
traditions of Italy! Facchetti, Cabrini and Maldini, their souls are infused
in him at this moment! Grosso represents the long history and traditions of
Italian soccer, he's not fighting alone at this moment! He's not alone!

Goooooal! Game over! Italy win! Beat the Australians! They do not fall in
front of Hiddink again! Italy the great! Left back the great! Happy birthday
to Maldini! Forza Italia! The victory belongs to Italy, to Grosso, to
Cannavaro, to Zambrotta, to Buffon, to Maldini, to everyone who loves Italian
soccer! Hiddink ... lost all his courage faced with Italian history and
traditions ... He finally reaped fruits which he had sown! They should go home
. They don't need to go as far away as Australia as most of them are living in
Europe. Farewell!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

And secondly, you misunderstand why Huang said this:
They should go home
. They don't need to go as far away as Australia as most of them are living in
Europe. Farewell!

Let me tell you.In 1981, New Zealand beat Ksa 5:0 and so took the place of China to enter World Cup.That's was a big hurt to Huang;he was a child In 1981. Now Australia join Asia football asociation just as what New Zealand did at that moment. And The point is that most players for both New Zealand and Australia live in England and plays game in Premear League or other leagues. They are less qualified for England so they don't need live in Australia at all and just need to take an Australian passport.to join Australia.
And Huang supports Japan? That's a very big Joke! 99% chinese hate Japanese team, including Huang.

29/6/2006 - Wuji-like grudge

Posted by zhangbohan
I don't understand the previous comment. Australians play for Australia because they are Australian, not because they have a passport. And does Huang really bear a grudge against Australia because New Zealand beat Saudi Arabia? That seems a little far-fetched. It really sounds like the plot of Wuji. Can people really be that small-minded? And, the Chinese media were supporting Japan because they identify with them as being Asian. Yes, Chinese hate Japan - but the Chinese government still sees Japan as being part of the wider region and worth supporting.
