We did, however, drive to Stockton Beach (about 1 hour from Singleton, on the coast). He we drove on HUGE sand dunes that streched for 11km along the coast and 1km inland. We also used the 'Stickboard' to slide down the hills. There were quadbikes, 4WD's and motor bikes everywhere.
With that finished...
...On to the New England Hwy!!!
