Second Innings

27/6/2006 - A New Contact With A Long Time Friend

I made a bird yesterday of contacting a one time (and still is) great friend.  I smile when I think of this friend and the great times we shared with each other and with others.

 

I went out on a limb telling my friend some personal things about me but I did this within the comfort zone of my friend first telling me ‘Part One’ of a fairly juicy storey.

 

For the sake of privacy I will nominate this friend as D1 and will keep you updated with developments.

 

I like that I smile when I think of this friendship.  Good friends are hard to come by.

26/6/2006 - Today Is The First Day Of The Second Half Of My Life

Sometime during today I came to the realisation that today is the first day of the second half of my life.

 

A blog is born.

 

Today I feel empowered to correct all of the wrong doings of the first half of my life, and empowered to maximise my influence on my immediate surroundings for the second half of my life.

 

To love more, to do more and to care more.
