Long Reef, Sydney
This was taken at “Long Reef”, Vic thought he might look as if he was walking on water,
Ha, he wishes. The kids really enjoyed walking through the water and checking out the all the sea-life living on the rocks.

Turquoist and Ivory flowers
These ones were made to hand of a bracelet like charms, it was very effective and quite summery, you cant go past turquoise and ivory for a great combination and a great reaction between the two glasses, (notice the black outline of the flowers). |

Hannah's lollypops
When I made these using a press, Hannah decided they look like lollypops, which they do, especially when they were still sitting on the end of the steel mandrels. I wanted to make a rainbow effect, so made each one with half one colour and half another. |

Blue and Green
Blue and Green should never be seen?? I thing that is “without a colour in between”. There are no rules these days and I love these 2 striking colours together. These are raised dots over white spots which gives them a kind of bright glow. |

Persian Green Czech Glass
These are of course more beautiful in real life, I really loved working with this glass, it melts beautifully and has a lovely semi transparent pearl look. I particularly loved the way the green kind of stained the edges of the white flowers, giving me a third colour for no extra effort. |

Snow trip
So we finally made it to the snow, it was pretty late in the season, and we only went for a couple of days, we mainly wanted to see if the kids (And I) enjoyed it, Vic has been an avid skier for years, but I was not so sure.
Well the kids were so excited to see the snow, they just kept scooping it up and throwing it. Hannah just didnt come inside, we spent the morning on the hill with the tobaggan, then we went inside the lodge, I saw Hannah get into her dry clothes, and I went away, when I came back she was back in her ski clothes and outside the lodge digging in the snow and building little snowmen, I said "did you change your mind", she just said "yeah", that was it she was gone.
