American Pro MovingHonda Civic LX - FunctionThe 160-watt, four-speaker AM/FM/CD audio system doesn't shake anyone's windows while we wait at red lights, but it does an adequate job of playing our tunes. Auxiliary audio jacks are a must-have feature these days, and the Civic LX comes standard with one. We noticed how a tray in the center console between the gearshifter and the cupholders was the perfect place for our MP3 player to sit while plugged in. Trunk space is impressive, as we were easily able to fit a large suitcase and two sets of golf clubs horizontally, with a bit of room to spare. Our only complaint is that the folding rear seat only comes down as one unit; it's not split. This ,000 upgrade over the standard Accord LX nets you 16-inch wheels, a security system, auto up/down driver and passenger windows with illuminated switches, an eight-way power driver seat and a chrome exhaust finisher. With an MSRP of just less than ,000, the LX-P trim presents a viable alternative for those considering the more luxed-out EX, while also hoping to save a few bucks. American Pro Moving & StorageAudi TTS Coupe - PerformanceThis power is sent through Audi's superb six-speed automated dual-clutch S tronic manual transmission and Quattro all-wheel-drive system. It's enough to slingshot the TTS to 60 mph in a scant 5.2 seconds (using the TTS's launch control feature) and wing it through the quarter-mile in 13.5 seconds. These numbers are right on par with the times posted by more powerful cars like the BMW 135i and Nissan 370Z and appreciably quicker than those of the 3.2 Quattro we previously tested. American Pro Moving CompanyNissan GT-R - PerformanceAlthough the six-speed dual-clutch automated manual transmission provides lightning-quick shifts with rapid response from paddle-shifter inputs, we actually found ourselves letting the car do its own thing in automatic mode. It, too, snaps through gears with seamless precision and with none of the herky-jerky motions sometimes associated with other automated manual transmissions. Under light acceleration, it has a tendency to shift up to 6th gear as quickly as possible to maximize fuel economy, but with so much engine torque and an eagerness to downshift quickly, this never proves to be a problem. And it's effective, since the GT-R manages 16 mpg city/21 mpg highway and 18 mpg combined — pretty darn good for a car this blindingly fast.(American Pro Moving & Storage : Wednesday 05 July 2006) Honda Element SC With Navigation - Function The Element features simple, well-located controls and ample storage spots. The gauges are large and easily read, the climate controls are the time-tested three-knob setup and the nav system is intuitive. There are also plenty of cubbies, even an open spot below the front cupholders. A back-up camera (which comes with the navigation-equipped trims) makes parking the diminutive Element even easier. The audio system in the SC comes with 270 watts and seven speakers (including a subwoofer). Sound quality is good overall, though we expected more punch to the bass when we got crazy with the volume while listening to The Who's "Eminence Front." In addition to an auxiliary audio jack, Elements with the nav system also come with a USB input that allows you to control your iPod with the steering wheel controls. It gets the job done, but it takes awhile to scroll through playlists, and there's no podcast listing. American Pro Moving & Storage Company - BMW 750i - Performance This athleticism owes much to the 750i's advanced adjustable suspension, which includes standard adaptive dampers and, on our Sport package-equipped test car, adaptive stabilizer bars (BMW's Active Roll Stabilization). It's worth noting that the Sport package's Integral Active Steering system isn't nearly as communicative as traditional BMW setups, but its responsiveness and precision are commendable for this segment. The Sport package also boasts a trick rear-wheel steering feature that turns the rear wheels in the opposite direction at lower speeds to tighten the turning circle, and in the same direction at higher speeds to aid handling. Sure enough, our 750i executed remarkably tidy U-turns, and while we can't say we felt the rear wheels doing their thing during spirited driving, the car's cornering composure was, as noted, beyond reproach.
