Well I have survived 6 weeks away from Queensland and I am starting to enjoy life here! At first I kept getting homesick for everything that I knew and loved at home. But now I have a routine - work is good - varying work - still feeling like a a glorified PA but I am having more and more of a say. A planning career here has so many more paths than in Queensland. I am enjoying having more of a role in the planning process. And I love hockey!! haha - never played before but its fun to be part of a team again and it does insane thing for your fitness. Home life - now thats an interesting thing - dynamics are good - until someone gets shitty or doesn't do the dishes or plays the computer all the time and you want to have a conversation or play cards or just shoot the shit...but the majority of the time is all good.
