I decided to have a crack at this blogging caper because I am an unwitting slave to populism. The blogging phenomenon has hit a point of metaphorical critical mass and I feel it's about time I got involved. This blog will (initially) mostly consist of emails I send to my friends in a futile effort to both educate and entertain them, an effort which goes mostly unappreciated.  The vast majority of my rantings are to do with ignorance and stupidity, usually in their most common and insidious form: religion.
