Let go of the Shame
Is there a shred of shame or false guilt haunting your soul?
If so, invest some time to write down any item of shame or false guilt you remember in a note book or journal.
Plan a time with a person who cares deeply for you and whom you trust implicitly to keep your confidence or consider an appointment with a counsellor or pastor.
At the time together, share with your confidant these times giving rise to your shame and false guilt.
Discussing these issues openly and genuinely will free you of the hold of shame and lift the burden of false guilt.
After completely discussing these issues, tear out the page, in the presence of your friend, and burn it.
Then thank your friend for his care and thank your Creator for forgiveness and let the pain and shame go.
