The newest patient at FWMA was found floating down the Apalachicola River.  He had swallowed a great deal of water and was suffering from Hypothermia.

And look at this soft fuzz!

The fuzz belongs to an 8 week old Great Horned Owl.  He's eating well and gaining weight. The hopes are that he will grow to be a great big owl and be released to enjoy the kind of life Owls enjoy!!
