I like the state of 'peace' here in the left bottom corner... and the elements/molecules.. perhaps the representation thats there's a little bit of all of us within each and everyone of us. The patchwork pieces that that take shape, unfolding a pattern, showing the fabric of our lives.....
Came across this artwork by accident and was totally impressed by it. I absolutely love it! “A young inventor who has been busily working in the lab…to design an internet product”. What a beautiful individual custom-designed “life story” or “statement” gift this would make!

If you’re in the mood for a night of art, then here is another favourite link of mine ..the “Artificial Gallery”…..take some time out!
His works are so thought-provoking. I’m totally intrigued by the multiple & deeper layers/messages one can find. I love the theme name too “Maps WithOUT borders” – an idealistic ‘state’. It’s interesting, as these maps are not necessarily a depiction of one’s mind/thoughts, Nirvana, nor of Utopia, but seem to be an amalgamation of all of that as well as the genetics of living things, their connection, the history of the human race, the planet, our mistakes, our hopes…….........................
as you thoughts are too deep for my brain to take in - please note Dee I am not being 'smart' but I am admitting that there are some things that my brain has difficulty comprehending.
So I will not get too deep in discussion about this piece because I fear that I will seriously look silly, as distinct from purposefully looking silly. But on a superficial level I love the whole scenario of "Maps Without Borders", as it pararels quite well with John Lennon's song "Imagine".
I also found in one of the images a Chinese proverb which outlines my "idealised" way of creating peace in this world:
If there is light in the soul
There will be beauty in the person.
If there is beauty in the person
There will be harmony in the house.
If there is harmony in the house
There will be order in the nation.
If there is order in the nation
There will be peace in the world.
And on that note,
May there be light in our soul, peace in the world and love to you all - Chezza <:-)
Perceptions – Chez – just perceptions, and opinions! Everyone’s got one, and usually, no two are exactly the same. That’s all it is.. hun.. It doesn’t mean nuthin’…not a brass razoo within the scheme of things. Especially when it comes to ‘art’ (a safe subject in my mind).. and there is no ‘right’ answer… just what it means to YOU. Saying “oh that’s nice!”.. would suffice just the same!
I love your parallel – yes.. that thought crossed my mind (huge smiles at ya!).
I love your Chinese proverb – an excellent ‘standard’ to live by.
As for difficulty comprehending – pffftttttt…. I won’t even ATTEMPT to make a list here of mine – I’m afraid I just don’t have that much available blog space left here anymore!
Thankyou for your beautiful comments, insights, proverbs and thoughts Chez! .....really.... xox Dee
This piece reminds me of Colin Lanceley's work. He favours mixed media; and so his works jump out at you and are so real and tangible that you just *have* to touch them. But you're not supposed to :-) - I manage to refrain, mostly because the guard was hovering and glaring at me.
It's the creation of digital art that amazes me; the ability to create so technically and yet remain so creative and aware of theme and meaning and message.
..it gave me something interesting to google and also to learn of another Australian artist (smiles).
I fear his works may best be appreciated on site at the gallery rather than on-line. It appears his art consists of 'sculptural elements' - his 'exploration to challenge the relationship between solid and painted form'. These ‘structured paintings’ also having been 'translated into two-dimensional prints' but I would love to see them up live and personal. Maybe I will one day. Thanks again for the introduction to his works. Big happy grins. Dee
