1/4/2007 - An Interview with....Jerry G String

.. Posted in Bloggers

There are many weavers, who work into the pattern the experience of (of our) lives. When one generation goes, another comes to take up the weft where it has been dropped. The pattern changes as the mind changes, yet never begins quite anew. At first, we are not sure that we discern the pattern, but at last we see that, unknown to the weavers themselves, something has taken shape before our eyes, and that they have made something very beautiful, something which compels our understanding. ----    Earl W. The promo opening line on website page states: “Anthropologist Helen Fisher explains the bio-chemical foundations of love (and lust), explaining why we commit and why we cheat”.

You gave your subject heading for the comment posted(under the other article) as being a man before your time?

Would you like to elaborate... and perhaps.. it would be best to tell us (the audience here) a little of yourself.....

Well rather than supply brief biographical details, I do think you've revealed yourself to be a man who likes to 'cut to the chase' LMAO.

Ok....Jerry..
Why did you feel the need to post this particular URL/Vid clip?
What does it mean (your interpretation) to you?
Have you ever cheated on someone?
Has someone cheated on you?

Smiles.

Do they understand themselves? So I posted it here in the hope of shedding some light on the "Chemical" question.
As Ive only just received the clip, & have only viewed it once, I'd like to defer my answer till I review it again

I am glad you are not interviewing me - you are tough Dee.

Plus I don't think I would be anywhere as interesting as Jerry is, yes I am being serious.

For those that may not realise this I must always say when I am being serious as otherwise people don't take me serious or even worse they do take me serious when I am not being serious - this leads to many dramatic misunderstanings. Yes I am being serious.

Days.. Chezza.. 2 x Days! LOL. Otherwise people will think you're 43 and you're not. No need to make ourselves 'older' than we are...thats for sure. I mean at our age (LOL cough cough... ).. who needs 'that'! LOL

Tough? Well you may need to ask Raven. (side whisper... "Rav.. was I tough with you? I mean, did I rough handle you? Or dish out more than 'you' could handle?...mmmmm *wink* lmao...not so sure about that.. adds one more *wink* LOL). Guess the polls aren't in yet, until I'm done *doing* Jerry!

And as for the seriousness of the matter... All I can say is that I laughed sooooo hard when I read your message Chez - that everyone heard me!! Lots and lots of belly laughs.. (Of course it doesnt quite come across now..does it.. damn it all... bloody BN lagtime.. all the laughs burst out of me, but that was so 20 mins ago! Waiting for BN to catchup!).

I think I soooo 'get you and your humour' Chez... unless of course, excepting those moments when Im momentarily 'losing the plot' or took you too seriously cos you didnt hold up your bloody sign for the gullible type like me. But hey.. I can sympathise and identify...Im always being taken seriously when Im not and never taken seriously when I am. And of course.. Im deadly serious - well now - I mean.. this moment ..yeah..this one..*pointing*..*nods head* *appropriate serious look*... no.. thats not the *mood look*.. its the other one...

Yes the station/management apologises for the delay. Technical difficulties beyond our control. I’m sure Jerry does have quite a few *deadly serious* and very interesting stories to tell, and Im soooo looking forward to 'doing' this interview.

Tune in again - Sunday night! Same station, same channel!

So .. .you ran away..(a little tad difficult to control, be guided back then hmmmm? LOL). Were you returned to your family home, or was that the start of some extravagant adventure we've yet to discover...??

Chuckle, cough. Why thank you kind sir! Umm... errr..

I can see you mentally shifting my position so much so, I think Im just coming along for the ride, but oh, what a bumpy and no doubt enjoyable ride I think we'll have tonight Jerry! (Smiles)...

So... you were an adopted child? (*pauses*)
And how DID that affect your growth; and adulthood, marital status even.. which you have until now not yet touched on...?
If you could, can you tell us more, of your adoption heritage/history and details, if you will.....
(*intently interested look/expression*)

Posted by Jerry G String
MMMmmmmm We are talking about the interview here aren't we ?? (as i watch her "shift more comfortably on her seat" :):) )
I was a rebelious child, intelligent & intuative. Life just never seemed to gell in my adoptive family. Don't get me wrong. They were/ are just the best parents. They bent over backwards for me. But still there was something missing. Now that I have discovered and met my biological side .... the pennies have dropped
Let me put it this way .......
I'm half Greek (fathers side) 1/4 German, 1/8 white Russian and an 1/8 Mongolian. My great great grandmother (1/2 Mongolia !/2 white Russian) was in the Russian Ballet. Must be where I get my legs from :):)
(leaning over to Dee to subtly let her now her top button is undone)

1/4/2007 - mmm courageous indeed...

Posted by deena
(Dee quickly looks down to check the state of the buttons on her blouse. Hand fluttering, finding nothing apparently wrong there, looks up, flustered, giggles nervously, smiles, squirms again…)

Well I love the quote Jerry (*more relaxed, recrosses her legs, has a kind of pleased smile*). That’s excellent. (big smiles). Ahh…a mixed background. (nods head, goes back to some semblance of a focused look).

Well what an interesting background/genetic history! So… you set out on an ‘identity’ hunt, if you will. What exactly did you discover Jerry - about your biological parents, about THEIR story, about YOU? What is this hidden story, of how you became to be adopted? That would be a ‘courageous’ journey (as you mentioned) to undertake, indeed.

..... ( I smile, for it isn't the button on her blouse which is undone. :):) but I'm sure the audience got a kick from it. Looking forward to the replay :):) )
You ask some very indirect questions, directly Dee.
Well ... I don't want to give too much away, with my book being released shortly ............ by Penguin Books at $49.99. .......... at all good book stores.
Again ... I need to move you forward. (ventriliquisting quietly that ur chair is on my toe ... smiling with pain)
Yes, my bio father came from an mmmm extremely religious family So religious that they were leaders of their religion in Australia. They owned several shops when my bio mother came to work for them. My father took a "fancy" to her and that grew into a relationship. Which, if you can imagine was seriously frowned upon. She fell pregnant with me after 12 months. The story goes ..... 1 day there was a knock at her door, during the day, and she was told to make herself dissappear by 5 that evening, or there woul be "consequences" . She packed up and left, in fear, and moved to a different state, and was employed as a housemaid until my delivery.
Have you ever been for a rickashaw ride Dee??? ( ... hoping to get her dorphomine running. Refer to link at top of page ) :):):)

Ok…umm..err….(Leaving the rickshaw comment aside for the moment, and quite oblivious to other happenings where Jerry’s eyes seem to be lingering…Dee repositions herself again, re-crosses her leg, and removes her heel that had inadvertently became entrenched in his toe….)

THE AUDIENCE SEEMS TO BE LISTENING INTENTLY….

(*Dee gently moves, her hair off her shoulder, to be more comfortably sitting at her nape, repositions herself again, legs still crossed, and leans slightly forward*).

No doubt, those circumstances were extremely difficult, in comparison to today, for your parents Jerry. That time, that generation along with extremely strong religious and cultural beliefs to deal with as well. So a young woman, struggling to survive in those days, combating the need to retain an income, without the support of family or any network of friends…. I would imagine a social appearance to uphold as well. Your mother obviously had no other choice, but to offer you up for adoption, for a life that she could not support? What became of your mother then, and, also, your father, and of you?

You seemed to have dropped a stick-it note Dee ( leaning over to pick it up and hands it back to her I catch a wiff of her scent ...at the same time she reaches for it.. ever so accidentally brushing the side of her leg…(smiling inwardly, wanting to see her "squirm" just a lil more. ....... cause I can mmmm Better behave, if I must….mmmm ) Is that Coco your wearing? You know it's one of my favorites, dont you?
Well ..... My feeling is not that she couldn't support me. I feel it was more that she feared taking me back with her. Fears of safety more so than financial. My father on the other hand, didn't know what had happened to her, and was devastated. He was never told so he couldn't comprehend why she had left. I was told by his brother that he had travelled to 4 states (by rail) over 18 months searching for her. Showing her picture where ever he went.
Yes Dee, it would have been horrific for him, for I have felt that strength of love myself. (funny about that) Why is that man over there winding his hand Ahhh We've come to the end of this session. And I was just starting to get primed ( as I down my 5 scotch and am feeling quite brave)
Perhaps I could take you for a bite to eat somewhere, so we can discover more about me ...... for the interview of course. I'm staying at the Hyatt for the next few day while we conclude this interview .... (whispering ... room 96) and if that's not convenient ....
( thinking ..... I could change room No's) perhaps I can get the Limo to pick you up in the morning for a bit of morning exercise (smiling to myself even more. Hoping my thoughts are subtle) Perhaps some a round on the bay on a jet-ski (for 2 of course) GOD .... that bottle of scotch finished al ... hic .... alraddy

But comments to herself, "Interesting life though!"
