*sigh* I remember Kitty posting a comment that we can probably be smarter, more popular etc on our blogs. I think I must be, I feel like the only person in the world that wants to go out and celebrate New Years tomorrow night and has no one to do it with.

If I didn't live in America now. I think a night on the tiles with you would be fun. We will do it, New Year's Eve with Angela and Kitty, but it will just not be this January.

I hope to be fast asleep. 2007 will get here with or without me.

However I must remember to wish my hubby's Mum happy New Years on New Years day, apparently she was broken hearted last year that no-one rang her to say Happy New Year. I didn't even give it a thought, I am sure we haven't done so in the past and for us it was just another day to get through as I was not all that well. But just a thought, she never phoned us either :-P
Oh dear I am devasted - I only just thought about that, she doesn't care after all *Sniff*
Please note I am only kidding, as I do love her very much just in case anyone got the wrong idea.

Happy New Year everyone, when is it again? Just checked the calendar it is tomorrow night.

Raincheck definitely, especially as this time next year I want to push for a US secondment. Hmm as for gmail, I don't know. Different time zones now?
I WISH I was in Melbourne, I love it so much.
And yes Chezza, make sure you call your mother in law. I have this image of some little old lady sitting by the phone in a house covered in crocheted doilies (okay probably not even close, but my imagination can run away some times).
But I do love you guys, you're awesome and if we could find a way to have an awesome Blogger party I'd do it. I think the people on this page have meant more to me and been more genuine than a lot of the people I know here in Bris.

I think now maybe I'm just being fussy. I'm not sure I want a top had and glow stick and I'm generally avoiding the Southbank/town crowds, especially as I'm not meant to drink in public places like that. And I'd go to family but I don't want to go by myself (a) and the one person who showed an interest is not going as she could not get free tickets from her brother who will be dj-ing there...

I did New Year in Tokyo one year. It was pretty low key as New Years is the equivalent of Christmas over there. It was pretty much just foreigners who were out and about. And it was freaking freezing.

I would go out and have a few drinks with you but....I am a bit of smug cow who enjoys getting up New Years Day at 5am and going to work feeling perfectly fine. Sorry about that small personal flaw in my otherwise stainless personality......stained personality, I mean. Have a nice night anyway!
