Week 1 Update24/6/2009

Wednesday 17/06/2009 - Wednesday 24/06/2009

Oh btw, if you want to know what AOTD is, well everyday bar Wednesday someone posts a question (QOTD) and we answer (AOTD)... if can be bothered I'll post up the AOTD for the first week, will try to rember to do them for the rest of the weeks.

AOTD - Normally I would say it would be CE. But Since I've started the paleolithic diet (Sunday night) I can't remember the last time I ate as many fruits, veges and nuts. It is a bit drastic I guess giving up all dairy and grains etc, but I think in my case it best just to go cold turkey,

because I'm sure that 1 piece of either pizza/chocolate cake, etc will turn into a lot more than 1 piece. So far temptation has been kept at bay.

So I guess the RT is the hardest.... even though the Gym is only across the road from my work. So much easier just to read the paper at lunch than go and lift weights.........

AOTD - 1) As I get older, I realise and recognise that he is human, just like me. 2) Sometimes he wins, sometimes he loses, but at the end of the day he is still my dad. 3) He will love me no matter what I achieve or don't achieve in my life. – And for that I glad.

AOTD - I guess the fact that I'm 31 in just over 2 weeks and I feel that it's about time I started to look after myself again... before I just don't care anymore and just resign myself to always being overweight.

Maybe it's an early mid life criss... or maybe after being single for almost 10 months it' s about time I get back into the game and present a better first impression.

Review of the last week
CE I'm very happy with how I am going so far.
RT & CT both suffered towards the end of the first week, due to a bit of cold. Should be ready to go again by the weekend, fingers crossed.
PG1 Still ongoing
PG2 I think this mainly due to my diet, no junk food/takeaway/coke/chips etc for a week. Just a lot of leanish meats, fruit/veges and nuts... oh and I think for me, dates are now the new chocolate.
PG3 Somehow I don't think this one will be made. So far 0, but still out of those days I have been getting up early and going to bed on time, just not sleeping for 8 hours that's all, but either way my sleeping habits are mush better than what they were a few weeks ago, so that a plus.

Well it's winter here in the southern hemisphere so I'm thinking that it will be a case of "REPAIR HOLIDAY DAMAGE!" or more like - repair the last four years doing a desk job.
